The Big Bad is Giles isn't it? I mean without him the past 7 years wouldn't have happened. I don't mean Giles as we currently see him, I mean the Giles as he was as a young man. That also goes with what has been said about only seeing him (The Big Bad) once or twice... The time when he ate the band candy, and when he killed Ben... Personally, I don't feel a need to know who the Big Bad is before it's time; I'm just enjoying things as they come along. I just check out this thread so that I can look at lovetoread's ass.

Yeah, as much as I want to know who it is, I'm not horribly upset about having to wait for it. But it is fun to try and guess who it is. That giles guess was really good, I never even thought of that.

The First Evil... Is behind Spike viewing the evil beings of before just as it was behind Angel being haunted by those he hurt. It is giving that vision to Spike as forewarning and also to drive him completely mad. By making Spike completely mad It will be able to use him to get close to Buffy without Spike recognizing that he is doing so but Spike will see it for what it truly is before he can do anything drastic.

Ok I knew this way back in early/mid October... Why wasn't it confirmed then? I sat here thinking and thinking about who the Big Bad could be but I knew who it was back in October and wasn't told it was right!!

thats just it. He replied to tell people that they were wrong, but didnt reply if we were right. Maybe he figured that if we were smart enough to figure out who the big bad was, we'd figure out why he didnt respond.

Ok, so the Big Bad is The First- Nosferatu....so how is he manipulating the spirits? And are the creepy guys with their eyes slashed out like a Nosferatu Cult or something- like the guys that were after the Key? And what exactly is Spike's roll in all of this?? Was this a part of his deal in getting his soul back?

No- I am not patient when it comes to Buffy!
