Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

"For the upright will inherit the earth, and the men of integrity will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it."

Where to start.

I may need some time.

He said not you dont.. now get out.

Thank you!

I wonder why he said that?

When she was talking to Angel she admitted she thought of him that way in her heart... why would he think she didn't?

he wanted her to leave.

If she stayed with him then she would have been crushed and died.

so he did what he had to do to get her to leave.

You're right... she would have stayed.

Where was Willow in the end? I didn't see her on the bus... unless I missed it during my phone call.

My friend told me 2 regulars were suppose to die. Anya and who else? I thought it was Principal Wood until he "surprised" Faith.

I thought more people would die, too... Everyone seemed really upbeat at the end, depsite Anya being dead... but she lived for like a thousand years... and it's sad that she was always the most afraid of being human and getting old and wrinkley.

Sighhhhhhhhhh.

Spike went down exactly how Druscilla first saw him: effulgent.

Which mean shining brilliantly, full of light, beaming, radiating.

When I first saw Spike (think it was in the episode where he'd hidden the eggs or something) I thought of him as an opportunist and evil in an icky way.

He's totally redeemed himself for me.

Josh Weldon said it will be at least 2 years before he makes the Buffy spin off.

but he had ideas of makeing a Dawn/faith/or spike spinoff

Dawn he siad wouldn't fly, the actress that plays faith said no
and well spike... that definalty can't happen now lol

they also teased the idea of makeing one revolveing around Giles

but your idea sounds more realistic.... oh well we will find out in a year (the Buffy movie is supose to start filming sometime next summer)

when Druscilla first seen him he was a book worm
a loner nerd, he was pissed at the world and was going to commit suicide when she turned him and made him her love slave

That's what he appeared to be. Druscilla saw past that to who he was, what he looked like to her. Effulgent. The word was central to the plot of that episode.

okay I found the site where I read about the movie.

the interviews have been updated to the one I read that came out 4 months ago.

main points in this interview (taken 2 days ago)
Whedon: Sarah has always come down against that idea. But then again, she was spending 10 months a year shooting the show, so maybe...

But right now, I think everybody sort of wants to hit a different chord.

but few months back the interview said they were tapeing summer of 2004

What magazine? Interviews don't get changed. There may be adendums, corrections in another part of the publication, but what is published STAYS published. That's one of the main consistancies of journalism. You misread.

Rasta I loved the final episode. I think it was tragic that Anya died but I liked the way they did it. Someone had to go.

I would be seriously surprised if there was ever ANOTHER Buffy movie, but I think it would play well. Whedon always said he shot ever episode like a feature film. That was what gave the show it's unique visual flare. I think it would be a hit.

Oh, and as for Spike being on Angel? Hello? Since when does death mean dead in Buffy land?

who said Magazine?

I read online newsgroups

I was proud of Spike...
I think he knows Buffy really loves him. Poor Buffy - but she had to go, I guess...

He thinks Buffy doesn't love him. After seeing her with Angel.

No he doesn't. He thinks Buffy doesn't love him the way he loves her. It has nothing to do with Angel.

Oh my god. I can't believe I'm debating meaning in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I'm not posting here anymore. LOL

Well they certainly left alot of room for spinoffs and movies and anything else with that ending.

I liked the ending, it leaves it up to the viewer to decide how they want the gang to live after sunnydale.

I was also glad they included so much humor in this episode, a serious series finale just woulda pissed me off.

Now Rasta....

Have a great summer.

much happy with the ending. not so happy that it IS ending....

overall, quite satisfied, and looking forward to whatever's next
