Got a question for the list. Had anyone heard that glenn quinn passed away on Dec 2nd?? He played Doyle in the 1st yr of Angel. I've tried looking a bit, but haven't found much on it, and since he was so young, was wondering how he passed??

Didn't know it'd been made public yet.

Far as I can say...Glenn liked to party. Leave it at that.

I don't know if it HAS been made public- public, aka, newspapers/tv. I usu don't have the time to watch much tv or read papers. I had just gotten it in 1 of my email buffy lists. It's always a shame when talented people die young.

"Roseanne" and "Angel" actor Glenn Quinn dead at 32

The Associated Press

Glenn Quinn, best known for his recurring role on the sitcom "Roseanne"
and a former co-star on "Angel," has died. He was 32.

Quinn was found dead of a possible drug overdose Dec. 3, authorities said
Friday. An official cause of death was pending an autopsy and toxicology
reports.

Born in Dublin, Quinn joined the cast of "Roseanne" in its third season,
playing Becky Connor's boyfriend and later husband, Mark Healy.

He later co-starred as the half-demon Doyle on "Angel," a spinoff of
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that debuted in 1999.

Although most of his roles required him to hide his Irish accent, "Angel"
was his first performance in which he could speak naturally.

"When you get to speak Irish, you become more at one with yourself, you
kind of have a spark when you use it, and I think it's a great dialect,"
he said at the time.

Born in 1970, Quinn moved to the United States in 1988 with his mother
and
two sisters.

He made his feature film debut with a supporting role as a drummer in the
1991 John Travolta movie "Shout," in which he shared an on-screen kiss
with Gwyneth Paltrow. He went on to appear in the films "Dr. Giggles,"
"Live Nude Girls" and "Campfire Tales."
He also appeared in the TV movies "Call Me Anna" and "Silhouette" and
co-starred in "Covington Cross," a short-lived, historical-fantasy
series,
which aired in the United Kingdom and on ABC in 1992. Most recently, he
co-starred in "At Any Cost," a 2000 VH1 movie.

He is survived by his mother, Bernadette, and two sisters, Sonya and
Louisa.

So, I was watching a rerun when something dawned on me.
Is it possible that Spike can hit Buffy because deep down he never "intends" harm? Or is it really just the stupid excuse that her molecules were put back together differently.

I remember when Spike was telling Buffy about how he killed the other slayers. He mentioned something about the fact that he could swing at her and it didnt hurt him as long as the "intent to harm" wasnt there. This was last season while Riley was still in town and she obviously hadnt died yet. But do you think that the fact that he is so wrapped up and in love with her now that he could "hurt" her if he wanted?

Tonight they're rerunning the episode where Willow comes back to town. Even though I hate reruns I didn't see this one so it'll be new for me. I heard it was pretty good.
I love your new AV Nike, that's a pic I could look at for hours.

Actually it wasn't that spectacular. If you go back 5 or 6 pages, I wrote a decent summary...Hold on, I'll fetch it...

It's midway down the page, first summary of mine you'll see.

I was so glad you posted that summary...I hate missing an episode. So it wasn't all that great? I may just tape it and watch it later then.

There were a few funny bits.

Mostly the Poseable Dawn scenes.

You'll see.

Has anyone else seen this weeks TV Guide listing the 50 things everyone likes best bout TV ???? Spike made the list !!!!

Yeah I loved the poseable Dawn thing. I'll have to go and check out the TV guide for this week.

As others have said the next NEW episode is this Tuesday, the 17th. In this next episode we will find out Giles is alive and well when he arrives back in Sunnydale with 3 new people, 3 would be Slayers. Buffy and the gang will be searching for a way to elimate the "Ubervamp" and Spike will continue to be tortured by the First.

Sounds damn good, doesn't it?

YAY!!!

*Happy dance* New Buffy, woooohoooo.

3 would be slayers?? Hmmm... does not bode well for Buffy.

By would be slayers I mean... Slayers in training. Remember when Giles spoke to the other Watcher who was dying? They were talking about "It's time", that meant it was time for Giles and others to start gathering the slayers in training because the First was starting its war on the Watcher's Council.

Emma Caulfield (Anya) was just on Wild On. Damn what wouldn't I do just to have her for one night.

Yes but just the fact that there are 3 in "training" is not a good thing for Buffy.

Cibo, woohooo do love ya:kiss:

Ahhh but there are always slayers in training, many of them in fact. And if you watched the teaser that came from the link provided by Cibo it says that some, if not all of those 3 will be killed by the Ubervamp. :)

That Ubervamp is but one of many to come. Wait and be patient. He's gonna kick the living shit out of Buffy. Seriously.. but she'll get better and , with the Scoobies, declare war on The First.

Back in October you said there wasn't going to be a big war. Why is it different now? Huh huh. Will be nice to see the scenio I proposed back in October come to fruition. It won't be exactly as I thought probably, with lots of Slayers in training battling alongside Buffy, but hey I could have been totally off. :)

Something I have been meaning to ask for awhile now...

Who exactly is D'Hoffryn? How old is he, how did he come into being. And exactly what is his job?

From what I've seen he is almost like a vampire in the sense that he spawns vengence demons. But what is he beyond that? Where does the source of his power reside. I mean he doesn't exactly seem to be that powerful (Or if he is he is a soft hearted demon) because we never see him doing anyhing other than createing vengence demons. Is he someone's lacky?
