Just heard that today. Her dad says she was competent, concise, and coherent with her requests and now he's "giving" her the rights to her life.

That may be true, but has there been any actual scrutiny considered or published by the court?

He may well have ripped her off, but if it is half what her Lawyer claimed, why has Dad not been prosecuted. My guess is that it's just a second set of sharks circling the carcass of Spears career.

The only certainty is that Spears is as mad as a cut snake.

Britney Spears won a huge victory Wednesday -- a victory she's sought for years -- because her dad has been officially removed as conservator of her estate, and it looks like the conservatorship is coming to an end.

It was a monumental day in court as Britney's lawyer, Mat Rosengart, zeroed in on Jamie Spears, saying he committed shocking abuse and mismanagement during his tenure as conservator. Rosengart was especially outraged over recent allegations Jamie engineered a scheme to secretly record Britney in her bedroom. Rosengart says there were conversations between Britney and her kids that were captured and he called it "unfathomable."

Well, that pretty much explains it.

Long story short: daddy became a born-again Christian, got with some other religious loonies, and started shoving the Bible down Britney's throat - hard. Not only was it ineffective, it was insincere: their badgering her to quit being a sinner eventually gave way to them stealing a bunch of her money.
