Not sure about the image, they're being a bit too persnickety in that regard lately - and if anyone is reading, I have voiced my opinion to a few mods, and some agree. Honestly - we're not doing it for profit and some things posted could only HELP, not harm, copyright holders. I digress ...

One of the few times I ever swam in the ocean, there had been a huge storm a few days earlier. Jellyfish everywhere, but I only went in a little bit. No stings here ...

Hello again CAT. We are an easy-going room that has fun, flirtation, an occasional sex question (although I'd like a few more and a bit more flirtation every so often - towards ME would be nice) and all sorts of trivia. Our members are pretty good about checking in.

I haven't been swimming in a number of years. Local pool costs too much and when I was up at the lake for Canada Day (July 1st) it was far too rainy and cold.

Hello to NRSE and I hope your vacation was everything you had hoped.

Writing is just that - writing. You either can or you can't. I understand what you are saying - I have ideas for art, but no idea how to convey them. Artists who can draw amaze ME. Likewise dancers. I can't dance a step - I just don't feel the rhythm.

Hoping all are well. I'm just having a small bite of food before more sleep (still exhausted)

Wknd went by again fast- did some Shopping Sat.-cleaned House & baked some Butter Tarts Sunday went to Nieces B Day Party it was even nice enough to sit outside - Hubby watched Football Game after we got back he was very Happy that the Home Team finally won a Game

Did you know that most Americans don't know what Butter Tarts are, LING? They are a Canadian thing.

I had never heard of Butter Tarts, but they sound and look good. Looks a bit like a pecan pie.

Butter tarts are very similar to pecan pie / tarts, except proper butter tarts have raisins instead of pecans.

Got the family home from Charleston and back to daily routines. This weather is picture perfect. Low of 51 last night and a high of 80. Gorgeous blue skies. Hope everyone here had a nice weekend. NRSE glad you vacation days went nicely. Feel free to share pictures.
Weekend late nights have caught up. I'm sleepy. Thanks for the grandparents Day wishes. I no longer have my Grandparents. I do enjoy being a grandma.

I wore a hoodie this morning, a jacket this afternoon - still wore shorts on my afternoon walk.

I know this was coming yesterday. Wife and I were shopping at a farmer's market and the breeze felt cold, not cool or cooler, COLD.

My son runs about a 5 minute mile. I don't think I can keep up with him on a bike.

I am hoping to add biking to my healthier lifestyle next year. I used to ride a lot before life changed drastically

We are not very bike friendly here. Don't really want my boys to ride too much outside of our neighborhood.

I used to ride for hours but those days are past. I don't think I could do it now, but you never know. It's something you build up to.
