Thanks guys for all the kind words. My twin teases me that I had boobs in kindergarten !! She is probably a B cup. I guess I did steal hers in vitro . Going out for Mexican tonight. Not so fun morning. I planned a date morning. Alone time with no 9 year old tugging at us. We dropped him off and drove to a plaza with several nice shops. My significant other went on the search of more Western movies and informed me were he would be. So I shopped for health\beauty stuff. School supplies and one Christmas gift. All by myself. Not exactly the way a date morning should go. I won't ramble on. I just feel there has to be more than this. I'm healthy and vibrant. I'm not ready to fall asleep on the sofa just yet.

It may eventually come down to a choice between you as a couple or you as a single T4T. He may need a huge dose of reality to snap him out of it. Or if that doesn't work, perhaps he deserves his fate. If it comes down to a choice, I hope you will choose yourself over the two of you. It's not fair when one partner does all the work. I learned that the hard way. I may be alone - but I am no one's sucker.

NO ONE can make you unhappy if you don't allow them to do it.

Sorry to hear that....I agree with you, just because we crossed the threshold of the 50 doesn't mean we have to sit and collect dust. It's one thing to hit a separate department but not leave alone for the entire shopping trip. Besides, us guys are supposed to carry the bags....

It seems to be a quiet night in the Bistro. I came home from errands and hit the laptop, I want to get a few pieces done tonight. I'm going to work and see how many I can complete - part-way through the first.

Without being maudlin, I can say that most of my 30's, 40's and almost ALL of my 50's - which I am more than half-way through - have been atrocious for a social life. It was made worse when my oldest friend died, as his business was part of a larger social hub for many of us. Friends would come to Toronto to visit him - which would always include me - and we'd all spend several evenings having fun.

The women in my life are gone and despite an effort on my part to reach out earlier this month, female companions still remain in the negative category.

Hope its a good one for you. We are battening down the hatches here in my area. Lots of road closures and accidents due to flooding. And only going to get worse as hurricane Joaquin draws closer. My area is supposed to get 10 additional inches of rain. We already have flooding and sinkholes. Spending the morning making sure my house is waterproofed.
