Nice new digs . . . and BrettJ, that was quite a welcome to the new Bistro from Jessica!

Think I'll have a glass of the celebratory champagne (or two), and maybe join T4T on the dance floor. Once went out with a group from the office, and took the very young receptionist out on the floor to teach her the "swing" . . . she commented that it was the first time she danced "fast" and actually touched her partner! Such is youth . . .

Another dancing tidbit: was at a sales meeting at the Playboy Club in Lake Geneva. After dinner and in the bar, a couple "bunnies" (but in casual dress) were there. Great "bump" number started up, so I joined the floor with one of the "bunnies" . . . but she set the tone right at the start by saying "no bumping in front!"

I might be able to manage a slow dance, but one thing I haven't revealed on LIT yet is that I am terrified - it's almost a phobia - of being on the dance floor. Odd - I'm an ex-comedian and DJ. I can command the attention of an audience, I don't mind public speaking. But on a dance floor, I am very self-conscious and awkward.

Just to let folks now that the "blip" has been fixed and if anyone checks back 1 page, you might see how.

I have to agree that slow dancing is the only way to dance. Although more alcohol can lead lead to some more moving, and someone grinding on me is always fun.

Brettj, I kind of have a phobia of the dance floor too. I think I look stupid dancing. If I'm slow dancing, my partner looks better so she'll get the attention.

For a performer who can sing (rather well) and do impressions, you would think I could dance. After all, I can hear even the smallest intonations in someone's voice and the lyrics to a song. But I have NO rhythm. I can manage to sway and was actually a fairly decent slow dancer before the phobia gripped me. Now, it's almost the old adage "can't walk and chew gum at the same time". If distracted, like by my pretty partner or conversation, I lose my place.

I didn't have to worry about it much - the girls didn't much like me and by the time I had a bit of charisma, I was the person entertaining the crowd or playing the music (in a suit) and getting PAID to do it.

I think being a comedian is kind of cool. Being able to laugh and make others laugh is one of the best things one can do.

As long as they don't POINT and laugh, you're fine.

I will say that the adage about women loving a funny guy is true - to a point. I couldn't get a date to save my life in school or in the intervening years, yet I had women who adored me - as a person. I made them laugh. But date me? Nope - it wasn't going to happen. A guy with good looks (and could dance) was the go-to guy for the women. I was the "pal" (which continues to this day).

Nowadays, even the "pal" would be welcome if I could at least get some companionship out of the deal. Sadly, not happening.

Good Morning to all our Bistro regs and visitors. Our first morning in our new lounge. I brought along Bacon and eggs, made from scratch biscuits and gravy, oatmeal or grits, assorted jellies, and blueberry or raspberry danishes. For Ling bagels and toast. Coffee and and juice. Orange or grape....

My premiere question of the day. Since we have such a bounty of delicious smelling foods is have you ever incorporated the food groups into your sexual play ? Or did you do more in the kitchen than just cook ? How about cooking utensils ? Ever been playfully spanked withva spatula or ?

My list : Frozen grapes, ice cubes, ice cream, whipped topping, melted chocolate, tic tacs and other mints, peppermint candy canes

As to the premier question of the day . . . I do have a fondness for whipped topping and well placed strawberries!

We have used cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, cherries, a banana, grapes, whipped topping, chocolate sauce, ice, popsicles, mints, Life Savers, and peanut butter.

While peanut butter tastes really good, it is a bad choice to use in any sex play. It melts, it runs, it's just a big hot mess.
