hello all,
been a while since I lurked around Lit, and I've missed it.
My question is somewhat awkward and conveys my lack of experience, but ther is a lady who wants to sleep with me, and has sent me photos of herself (all going along well so far), except that on her areolae are quite sizeable pink bumps. I am pretty sure they aren't pimples, but they are that size or a little bigger.
I know it is a silly question, but should I be worried about these bumps or are they normal.
AND TO THE SMART ALECK'S OUT THERE: They are not her nipples! I know what a nipple is, these are in a sort of circle around the areola.
Thanks in advance,
Averageguy

LMAO :D

My girlfriends nipples have small bumps especially depending on her state of arousal.
I think we need pics to make a more educated diagnosis. :D

Ahem. Those are what the milk comes out of.

They range in size, they're sometimes not visible, sometimes are, depends on the time of the month, or if she's cold, or whatnot.

I have some of them myself, and I assure you that they're not pimples or anything like that. They're called Montgomery's tubercles. They're oil-producing glands and they tend to become more pronounced during pregnancy (for future breastfeeding purposes).

Info here.

Those little pink bumps (which do, vary in color from one person to the next depending on varied natural skin tones) ARE quite normal. Breast milk does not come out of these, although SOME traces of milk can be found there in minute amounts. The amount is SO small that it would be next to impossible to coax an amount of milk from the glands that would be sufficiant enough to even view with the naked eye.

These sebaceous, or oil-producing glands, secrete a lubricating and protective substance, altering the skin's pH and discouraging bacterial growth. These glands also secrete a small amount of milk. These lubrications help to keep the skin healthy and the areola elastic.

I'm a moron.

Well, I learned something new.

Nipple pics for discussion only

Hi,
I would ask that no-one copy these as they were given to me in confidence.
I am posting them only to satisfy my question properly.
Thanks,
Averageguy

i wouldn't and am not saying that you are a moron Ms_Lilith. Perhaps you have not nursed babies, or have not studied biology of the female body as much as others have and therefor don't have the experience to draw knowledge from.

No one is capable of knowing EVERYTHING. Everyone has their own stronger areas of knowledge. It's an endless wealth when others discuss, debate & SHARE their knowledge ... not knowing one single thing should never make anyone else feel like a moron. ;)

I actually haven't studied much biology at all.

I'm a historian. Art and history are what I do.

Ok I can assure you these are perfectly normal. So dont sweat it. They can also 'help out' when you suck her nipples, because they add a nice texture. So good luck for when she 'comes calling'.

I'm guessing that they aren't your fiancée's? Or maybe they are?

At any rate, I'm sure the woman in question would appreciate knowing that her boob pics are all over cyberspace.

Now that you have your answer, I would suggest removing them for obvious reasons.

I think he'd gotten enough of an answer before he posted the pics.

I know this is a silly question as well, but why should YOU be worried about the bumps when they're on HER breasts? Contagious boob-cooties, perhaps? The dreaded Boob-Foot-Mouth disease?

ROFL ROFL ROFL
I'd be more worried about oozie nipple syndrome.

I must say if your unsure I would rather ask a silly question than make an uneducated assumption.

I agree. It was a perfectly legitimate question. That's why in my initial response I gave him a perfectly legitimate answer.

Now I'm just annoyed that he plastered pics given to him in confidence up here for people to see (and copy, if they so desire) AFTER he'd gotten legitimate information about what the bumps likely were from a couple of people.

Yeah, they're just boob pics, and the woman's face isn't visible, but that's not the point.

Answer received thank you muchly.

Pictures now removed.
Thanks to all who responded to my question.
I feel much relieved.

Averageguy

There, that is a good example. i never enjoyed history, much .. and as a result it's not a subject i would claim to have much knowledge for. i'm with you on the subject of Art though ... although, not Art History of course.

Average guy engaging in tit play prior to even knowing what normal tits look like, & then asking questions: adolescent-lameness

Posting pictures which were given in confidence on the internet: dishonorable

Removing pictures which were given in confidence after posting them on the internet: too late

Said fiancee and/or girl (whom the tits portrayed in the pictures which were given in confidence after posting them on the internet) one day discovering that her confidence was betrayed and them kicking the average guy in the nuts prior to divorcing/breaking up with/beating his dumb ass: PRICELESS ! :D

P.S. You're welcome, of course. :)
