boxers, briefs or thongs?

Thongs are becoming increasingly popular with men, what do the women of this fine board think of it? And for the men, would you wear one and why?

This stems from a conversation I had with a few friends a few nights ago, some said they can wear whatever they want and others said the idea freaks them out so I'm looking for some more opinions.

I have a few thongs, I like to wear 'em, they feel good to me (and I'm not gay - I don't understand the supposed connection between being gay and wearing thongs?!). I just wish the shops in my area would sell better ones, the only thong I've ever seen is a leopardskin print one and that has cheesy written all over it ^_^

The problem with thongs on guys is that if a guy has a big belly it just doesn't look right. I think they do make a man's butt look hot, however. I would love it if my guy would wear an occasional thong in the bedroom - he does have a big belly but he does have an absolutely cute butt!

*sigh* Anyway, for most guys with the typical body, it depends. If it is just for everyday wear, either boxers or briefs. Whatever makes him comfortable. If it's a special evening, then I like the feel of silky boxers.

What would you do if you found your man liked wearing them, would you try and get him to stop wearing them in favour of silky boxers or similar?

I think I'll weigh in on perferring boxers or briefs to thongs on men.

But if I'm being honest, they are all just barriers and I'd rather have the commando view.

my couple of cents' worth is just insane, actually. i lost my virginity-by-choice to a man that wore odd underwear. The first time i saw him he was in nothing but a pair of smiley face yellow briefs.

No, i don't know where he got them. No, i have never found any since. Yes, i WOULD jump somebody's ass and fuck their brains out if they could find a pair like those ones.

He was also known for his boxer briefs. One pair i distinctly remember were bright red, royal blue, and white paisley print. Again, i've never been able to find another pair. i think he actually took the time to batik that pair himself. He was just crazy enough to do something like that.

Other than those couple of pair of undies that i'll never see again, i much prefer a whole lot of... well... nothing! Boxers would have to be a close second, though. They just seem more comfortable.

Thongs on men just remind me too much of speedos. Not a pretty sight.

I don't like briefs... If I find a pair that fits around the waist just right, the cup area is too small... If I find a pair that fits right in the cup area, the waist is too big... Not to mention that I would like to one day father children and briefs have been known to lower a man's sperm count.

As for thongs... I might wear one as a joke for my lady... But other than that... It's just not for me.

Thongs are such a no-no on men--same as Speedos---some things should just NOT be worn by men, regardless of their body shape. Ewww.

Personally i don't find a thong to be at all appealing on a man. i don't even like to wear them myself. If anything is going to be pressing and wedged up the crack of my ass, i preferre it not be a thong.

BVDs are just goofy. Boxers are ok. i prefere my man to remain exactly as He is ..... commando.

While the models all look very good in these, it all comes down to what a guy wants to wear. If they don't mind the feeling of butt floss, that's okay.

Guess I'm one of the few differant ones.

Most of the time, I prefer boxers.
But there are days when I just want to see him in a thong. My guy has a cute butt and in a thong its just completely drool worthy. Not to mention I can slip my hands in the front of that barely-there fabric and tease.

Unless asked though, he only wears it if its increadibly hot, the air conditioners are broke and he's trying to sleep. Claims it keeps things from sticking to his legs.
