Box is full question-

Hey guys, I just got the notification my box is full.
How do I empty it when I have nothing in my folders? It says somewhere on here, booting around on my control panel I saw I had 101 saved messages- where did I save them and how do I get rid of them if they arent in folders?

There are 3 folders that handle your PMs. Your Sent and Message Tracking folders count toward your total. Have to clear them too.

I emptied the tracking folder, there were only 10 in there I think, and that was it, does that mean I fixed it? lol

About your box though....
you are sure you deleted enough pm's in your inbox?

Maybe you also have to delete stuff from your 'sent items' box ?

Actually I don't know. Seems strange. Maybe you should delete ALL messages (make sure to copy the important ones first) that are in your sent/inbox/etc.

I hope this pm will get through.

I got the message about you sending the pm for me. I went back and yes sure enough it still says its full, even with nothing there. If there were things in there, what would I do to delete them?

I pull up my in box, and nothing, I click on the arrow beside my inbox and there isnt any other folders to delete. AM I blonde or what?

No. As stated there are THREE boxes. Most likely your sent messages are still there. In the little box that says Inbox...click the arrow beside it til you see Sent Items. That's the folder that's probably full.

Okay, I feel really dumb now! I was clicking on the bottom think beside where it says move, delete and what ever, instead of at the top right. All better now, I should be able to get pms now.

Now that you've found your Sent Messages Folder, go here: https://forum.literotica.com/index.php?s=

At the very bottom of the main index page, there is a Private Messages summary that give the status of your PM Box -- I'd bet it says you still got more than zero total messages.

The default display for your private messages is only 10 days and you can only delete messages that are displayed.

Near bottom of your PM page is a pull down list. At the very bottom of that list is "From the beginning" -- choose that setting and then "delete all" in both your Inbox and Sent Mesages folders to completely clear you PM Box.

The Message Tracking folder DOES NOT count against your total PMs (those count agains the limit for those they were sent to.)

Actually Harold, it only says I have three in my folders, likely two of which I sent out this morning.

Mine is almost always "0 total" because I make it a point to uncheck the "save sent message" box unless I have a specific need to save a PM for later reference and delete incomig PM's as soon as they're dealt with.

Actually, I've got a couple of sent PM's saved, but they're in MS Word format on my hardrive because I cut and pasted long PM's into word to fromat the replies and haven't bothered to delete the Word files -- but thos don't show up on Lit's summary.
