She smiled "I was serious about dating you, I may not have experienced. " She chuckled and sighed a bit. I want to help you, your a nice guy. But I can help you, and im very serious. I can put down half, my parents had money. I could afford to live off it. But I want to work for getting paid. " She looked at him, very serious and you can tell by her face she wasn't bull shitting him. She crossed her arms.

"But its up to you.." she said simply.

Robin was touched by her kindness and he reached out for her arm and gripped lightly and then said, gratitude in his voice.

"Thank you Bella, you need to give me time, and you need time too, to work on your project. After your established, I wouldn't say no, having you as a partner since you'd be making loads and this divorce is getting to my head, I would have enough to keep the studio running till it ends, and I could somehow keep it going for a little longer, to release your album at least. You could save our studio if your album turn out to be a smash."

 

[Mayu]

She listened to him "Oh of course not, I don't want to rush, im just telling you. " She placed her hand on his and had a feeling, things would turn out just fine. She was going to have a lot of fun. "It will be a smash, if you have confidence in me and of course I have confidence in myself. Everything will turn out just fine, this will be an adventure" She said lovingly. Bella had relaxed a lot more. Sometimes she talked to much due to being nervous, she grew very content.

 

[Aidan88]

"I have faith in you, ever since I saw you for the first time."

Robin said looking up at her, it was as if he saw her truly a gem waiting to be discovered and he happened to find her and chanced upon her.

"Then one year from now, I hope you'd remember this conversation of course."

He smiled and then took his hands off her arms and settled it by his side, looking relaxed again.

She laughed some "trust me, I wont forget" She smirked as he relaxed and she followed after him. "Thank you Rob, for being here for me. I know we will get close, im rather lonely which is why I don't want to let you go. Course if you want I can leave you alone' her eyes went to the table and sighed softly.

She was always lonely with no friends.

"I like company and I don't say no to good company, because they are rare."

Robin said very sincerely and he had his arms crossed upon his chest as he added to that.

"And i think I like been your friend Bella."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled looking at him "Im enjoying it as well" She loved him already, Bella looked into his eyes, so kind but full of pain.

She knew his age which made her smile even more, she loved older men.

6 months later..

The six months rolled pass very fast and many things had occured meanwhile in the span. Robin's divorce was through and he had sold his house to pay his ex-wife monthly and his legal preceedings.

He now lived in a rental room in an apartment not too far from his home and his only asset now was his car. He knew sooner or later that had to go.

Besides himself, now the city had a new star. Lady B

Their recording and release had gone well and pretty good down in the industry and this had saved his studio pretty much.

Now again,6 months ahead, Robin was meeting with Bella. She had agreed to meet him and he was glad she remembered his treat. He knew how busy she was now, dealing with many photoshoots and the papparazi and he waited in the cafe awaiting her, it was 9 pm and there were very few people, the violin music playing and the lights dim,it set a romantic mood in the room.

She was doing well all thinks to Rob, they were pretty close now. She got to the café and when she opened the door she saw him. She smiled seeing him, she walked over to his table. "Hey" She said kindly and hugged him. Sitting down she looked into his eyes, they were very close friends, she treasured him.

"Hi. Looking good as ever I see!"

Robin greeted her with a hug and sat down. He could see her body guards at the doors and he was grateful it was not crowded. The people,especially young crowd would all make a beeline to her. She was that famous.

"How are you enjoying your new lime light Lady B?"

He inquired, pouring wine into his glass and into her empty glass.

She smiled at Rob, she loved him and it was more then just good friends. But she knew he was much older, which was why she didn't tell him how she felt. When he put the wine bottle down she took a sip of the wine. She relaxed a bit. "It's good, im surprised with my fans. I never thought id ever have thousands of fans."

"I knew yo'd be a hit.."

Robin said with a smile,looking as relaxed as she, as he sipped from his wine and he added.

"How do you manage them 24/7? You got any managers to help you?"

He leaned back on his chair, looking at her, he seemed slightly older now, with a goatie now, and slightly greyed hair.

 

[Mayu]

She nodded "Yeah I have a manager. I don't let him control me, I know some artist get dragged down by the activity but I make sure I get rest. Because I know artists get tired, so I have some me time.. " She smiled.

 

[Aidan88]

"Just what I thought so to, you need a break."

Robin said and he had a secretive smile as he put his hands into his pocket and then leaned forward towards her and whispered, smiling as he said.

"What do you fancy a get-away vacation to Spain for two for a week?"

 

[Mayu]

She was surprised by the question, she thought for a moment. "Spain would be nice.." She said simply. Wondering what he is up to, she took another sip of her wine and smiled at him. "Why..what are you up to?" She laughed softly.

 

[Aidan88]

Robin leaned up and watched her reaction to his offer and at her question, he put his hands into his pocket and retrieved two flight tickets and passed one to her and then said.

"Just a cause to celebrate for you. And maybe we could talk business..."

He trailed off, his gaze returning to her eyes as he slowly got to the part which he wanted to talk from the beginning.

"Remember the deal we talked about a year earlier? If you are successful, you can buy a share in my studio. I think you are ready and I could give you the papers, if you are still keen."

 

[Mayu]

Bella was taken back by the surprise, her face showed her shock and looked up into his eyes. A Smile showed on her face and nodded. "Sounds great, and yes I still wanna do that" Bella didn't know what to say. She was in shock, to be a partner but most of all to go to Spain with him. It was another dream come true.

 

[Aidan88]

Robin chuckled lightly, his chuckle sounding gentle at her reaction and he seemed to be reminded strongly of the time he gave her thr recording contract and she was in the same state of surprise.

"We'd take it one at a time. I hope you would have free time next time so that we can make the trip."

He said and lifted his wine of glass and toasted, smiling.

"Cheers to our partnership and more success!"

She lifted her glass "And to you, for making my dreams come true" Bella smiled, how lucky she was. As he aged, she grew more and more attracted to him. It was a battle of feelings a lot of the time.

"Three cheers for us then!"

Robin said and laughed before he downed his wine. He was looking very happy on that evening like truly enjoyed himself and as if his worries had all disappeared all out of his life.

"You know even though I have so many problems in my life, tonight I feel so merry, maybe it's just your company Bella which make me forget all of them and I thank you for this."

He said as he lowered his glass and reached out for the bottle and poured more.

She looked at him and was flattered about what he said, she blushed. "Your sweet thank you, ive never done anything like this with a guy. I was always the shy one, but the minute we looked at each other. I feel like I can do anything, but there is..well never mind i don't want to ruin tonight" She said lovingly.

 

[Aidan88]

Robin looked at Bella for a while, as if something about her deeply intrigued and interested him, and as she trailed off halfway what she was to say he smiled and then said.

"I don't think you could ruin my night. And you know, you could confide in me anything as a friend of yours, anything personal or any guys who got a crush in you, you know I am there for you, Bella."

He had known Bella for a very well, and now they were more than just working partners, he could speak to her about anything and she was very well aware of his own divorce and financial issues he had underwent.

She thought for a moment and looked down she sighed softly. Her heart was pounding something horrible. "No one has a crush on me but..." She opened up her eyes and looked right up into his own. "I..." She took a deep breath and finally said it.

"It's not a crush, I know what I want....im...im in love with you" She said softly. "You make me feel incredible, like I can take on the world. I shouldn't have said anything, because I know what you have been through" she said softly.

Robin's smile faltered when he heard her, his eyes widened with shock and his hands,holding onto his glass in mid air and he seemed frozen to his spot for a while and then he broke the silence by a hush whisper.

"You are joking are you not Bella?"

He asked, with the half smile, and the look of surprised in his eyes. He could hardly believe his ears when he heard her. He knew she liked him, and he liked her too, maybe more than like, but he was finding it hard to come to terms with it, maybe because of their age difference and she was very beautiful, and he was nowhere near her.

Bella looked up and shook her head "I am in love with you, but I know with the age difference..and your history..I tried to tell myself it was just a crush, but its not just a crush. 'your a good man, friendly and your a very dear and loving friend, that's why im having problems. But this has to be said Rob, the women in your past never deserved you. You have so much love and life." She took another sip of the wine, her eyes to the table. She had a bad feeling this was going to be bad, rejected and she was terrified. She just wished he would kiss her, tell her its ok...but she feared...
