Born Super Star (open)

Robin just smiled at her gesture as she kissed him, he saw sheer happiness and he knew this amount would motivate her to give her best, it always did.

"Robin..or Rob from now Bella.."

Robin replied to her and then leaned towards her, so that she could hear him and then whispered.

"Want to know a secret? You got approval yesterday itself. I signed this cheque as soon as I saw your performance. This was all just for show sake. Now finish this album successfully and you'd ne somewhere in no time, just don't forget this producer.."

When he told her to call him Rob or Robin she smiled, he was a sweet guy. But when he leaned into her, she could feel his warm breath against her chest. Looking into his eyes she saw pure happiness. She knew from that point on that she was getting a crush on him. She was a great judge of character. He had done things he regretted, but something about him..she hoped to get to really know him.

"Of course I wont forget anyone or anything. I have a good memory"

"That's good return to me!"

Robin said, appreciatively as he leaned back and then clapped his hands and turned to the guys and said.

"Ok guys pack up, that's it for today!"

He turned to Bella and then complimented her.

"You did a great job, and you have finished all the recording in just one time. A new record. You want to go and celebrate your salary? I know how happy this makes you."

She smiled "More like celebrate the record" She grinned "Id love to go out with you" She said, he was something else. She grabbed her outfit and her bag. She sighed softly and saw the others packing up and putting things away. She was so excited she couldn't keep calm, money was wonderful. But to put out a record? was much more awesome.

Robin started packing up his office bag when he heard Bella and he stopped for a while and turned to her, half surprised and he only thought about it for less than a minute and he nodded with a smile and said.

"Sounds good to me."

He shut his bag and then waved at his colleagues and as they walked out of the recording room, he turned to her and asked curiously.

"So what do you have in mind? A lunch date?"

She smiled looking at him "A lunch date, to be honest I want to know more about you" She said with a kindness seen on her face and heard in her tone. She brushed away a strand of dark brown hair and was ready for anything.

"I would like to get to know you even better then."

He said, smiling listening to her plans on her treat, even though it was spontaneous.

"You pick the eating place since you're paying then."

He said very lightly and devoid of seriousness as they walked out of the building towards his parked car.

She gazed into his eyes and nodded, it was going to be a wonderful date. She sighed softly, and got into the passenger seat, for a moment she wondered where to go. There was a nice little place.

"There is a little place, on 77 main street " She said with a kind smile.

"its a cute little diner, there food is great" She said kindly.

"It's a decent place for lunch."

Robin replied and after she got into his car, he started the engine and then started driving.

This drive was not too long and the eatery was just within a few miles from them and in barely less than 15 minutes, he stopped the car outside the diner and then got off the car.

He walked to the back seat and opened the door for her and then remarked.

"We are in luck today, it is not crowded for a change today."

She nodded and agreed "Yeah which is good" She said softly and walked beside him. They were seated in a beautiful spot, away from the busy part of the diner. She sighed a bit. Looking back at him she grabbed the water and sipped it, waiting for the waiter to come to take there orders.

Robin was in familiar territory, only now with Bella who seemed like she was also in ease in the diner. He was surprised how he had missed her in his earlier occassions and he must admit they had a good seating now.

He glanced over at the menu and glanced up and down the menu of food he had been through and then asked his doubt.

"Are you a frequenter to thsi diner?"

Bella nodded "Yes I love this place, ive talked to the owner once. Nice guy, im a simple girl when it comes to food, but now with whats going on now...I will have to experiment on different places. Places ive always wanted to go but didn't have the money for."

"Odd how I didn't see you earlier, me been a frequenter myself.."

He said with a smile and nodded in understanding as she said how she could go to more places now with a bigger wallet now.

"I hope you'd like what you see around here."

He added, and glanced to her back as he saw the waiter heading to their table.

She looked up and ordered a seafood platter and a diet coke "Probably because im here alone and with my nose in a book" She said with a smile. Looking over at him "But here we are now, talking and working together"

"Let me guess music book?"

Robin asked casually and then he made his order, what he usually had, a slice of chocolate cake and cofee. He was a caffeine addict and a chain smoker, both kept him going, throughout the night.

"I do this to every new artist I work with, but after they release their records, I don't see them any longer."

He said, a grim edge to his voice as he spoke and then he added.

"I don't blame them, they are too preoccupied with the tabloids making news, as everything they do is news."

Bella smiled "Yes actully" she laughed a little. But when he told her about never seeing them made her sad. "I won't do that, besides I like you, something about you..its hard to explain. But I wouldn't mind..getting to know you better. Which is why I wanted to take you to lunch" She sipped her soda and relaxed a bit more.

"Oh so can I expect a treat like this, one year from now?"

He said, half jokingly and laughed, it was hard to red his expression and he seemed relaxed like her as he had his meal. And when he finished, he looked at her and said genuinely.

"Thanks for the treat. I havent had a such a good time for a long time, to be honest."

Bella laughed with him but she had a feeling he thought he would never see her. "No, Rob im serious. I uhh.." She coughed looking down, now she grew shy around some matters. She had a smile on her face.

"im not good with this" she smiled.

"I want to keep in touch, your sweet and no guy has ever been good to me. "

"I'm glad you enjoy my company."

Robin replied and picked up a towel and wiped on his mouth and then looked at her and said.

"I would hate to lose contact with you. So do your family live around with you here too?"

She smiled glad at what he said, when he asked her question she sat back. "Yes they did, my parents were killed three years ago, drunk driver" She knew he wouldn't feel so hot. "No Rob it doesn't upset me, my mom would have loved you. She always wanted a nice guy to sweep me off my feet . And my father would be all over you to treat me right" She laughed.

"My father was over protective" She giggled.

"I'm sorry to hear about your parents."

He said in understanding and then added on.

"Must have been a hard way of growing up, all on your own?"

He looked at her and smiled, seeing how she seemed to have forgotten her past and was filled wiht ambition, he seemed to have a look of adoration for her instantly and he replied.

"I think I could be as old as your dad, if he were to be living. I am 38 this year and I have a 16 year old daughter, her name is May."

She smiled "my father was ten years older then my mother, and to be honest I like older men. I feel more at ease. Ive never been attracted to men, its strange. Something about me is drawn to you. Maybe im just crazy' she wondered how he would see her since she wasn't even twenty yet. She didn't want to loose him. She was content in a few ways, well more then one way any way.

"That's strange indeed, maybe I remind you of a fatherly figure?"

He said, looking surprised at hearing from her, and she looked very young, barely twenty but he did not treat her like that, he treated her like an equal, like he did for his own daughter, whom he had never seen for very long.

"I am bad at relationships with women. I was married thrice, first to May's mother, Julie for 5 years, she did not like me because I was too busy, at that time I was trying to make the studio work. Then I was married some years later to Alicia, a wardrobe helper in the studio. You know what's funny? She did not realize she had an attraction for women till we married, and a week later. We got divorced and I married again to a family friend of mine,Sally now our relationship is on the line, because she thinks I'm in a relationship with on of the junior artists and she doesn't like May, my daughter. She always argued with her and May left. I have no idea where she went, but she only make calls sometimes to ask how I was living. Now Im on the brink of divorce with Sally, she is demanded a huge share of my wealth and lately business had been bad, I might have to give up my studio to pay the divorce preceedings after it's confirmed."

He seemed totally sad at the last bit, eyes watering with emotion as he wiped and then looked at her and apologized.

"I'm sorry for boring you with my sad story...especially on a day you want to be happyand celebrating."

She smiled "No I want to get to know you, im sorry about your past. Anyone that doesn't stay with you are damn stupid. Frankly I don't know why your relationships ended. Hell id date you in a heart beat." She said and chuckled. "No I don't see you as a father figure" She thought for a moment.

"Rob...you said that you have to give Sally a big part...what if we became partners. So you won't lose much money" She didn't know what she was doing..or did she? She smiled. "My father was a lawyer, so I know all about business. "

Robin looked slightly better when he heard Bella's words and was surprised to hear that she'd date him, it was definitely strange, he did not know if she was serious or just inexperienced because from prior experiences, he knew that when women knew of his past failed marriages and relationships on dates, he wouldn't hear from them again.

"That's nice of you to think so, but I'd think I have enough marriages for a life time."

He replied and nodded and hearing her suggestion on becoming a partner, he was taken aback and then chuckled and said.

"That'll be imposing on you. I suggested this to Big B, but he himself was not able to afford it. The entire worth of the studio is close to 16 million. If you were to be a partner, you would have to at least put in half, and that would be too much for you, but thanks for your suggestion, it means alot for me."
