Yes, bookcase wallpaper. A cute way to create a feature wall in an alcove. The colours help tie together the rest of the decor.

The sideboard is all of two weeks old. We wanted something to hide his console in, and it has plenty of room for that.

I like your plants - the trees with the braided/twisted bases are one of my favorites.

We picked that one up yesterday. Reduced to £10 because it needed repotting and the owner of the garden centre seems to like him.

My house is directly opposite this view. I had been across the road this morning to read a new notice on a lamppost. Every sunny day we have a magnificent sunset seen from our kitchen (the sink faces the sea) and the dining room, or from the upstairs balcony.

My study and downstairs toilet are the only rooms without a sea view.

Several of my neighbours own a beach hut facing the North Sea.

PS. At least 20 people a day take pictures from that viewpoint, more when there's a great sunset.
