Bondage workshops??

It’s New Years Eve, and I am attending my very first public outing in the world of BDSM. It’s a bondage workshop. Im so excited but so frightfully nervous.

My costume is stockings with high heels, my collar, and mask, (thinking about adding long sleeved gloves but I don't want to over accessories) and a knee length coat, which I will leave on until Im totally comfortable with the atmosphere, and the people there.

Has anyone else been to a bondage workshop before? What happened, beside the rope tying?? I know its late asking, since its getting close to party time, but the closer it gets

I suspect it will be mostly teaching tying techniques. There may be play time at the end that could get a bit more free-flowing... but there are BDSM events that are sex-positive and others that are more "external"...

I think I'll be a voyeur at this event, and my men wont force me in a situation im uncomfortable with.

I'd suggest tights or yoga pants and maybe a tank top or sports bra.

Some bottoms will likely be nude or semi-nude.

You'll want to wear something you'd feel comfortable being tied in.

RawHumor and Mrron, thanks for your input, it helped.
I did go with the yoga pants and sports bra, and a gstring (thong) just in case I was comfortable in loosing my yoga pants later in the night.

The people were quite nice. No ultra creepy dudes.

We took a back pack with our own ropes, and brought some more there. Because I was so attired, I was comfortable with the guys practicing their tying techniques. I never thought I would have ever been so trussed up in public, but their I was.

Rope bondage class

Glad you enjoyed your rope bondage class. I went to one many years ago in NYC, and found it to be quite informative and stimulating -- once I got over my initial nervousness!
