He is in fact quite charming in person and by far better with the families and dependents of military personel under his charge then any other member of the top brass I'd met. For the spouses etc. who were waiting at home we were just grateful to have somebody with a star who didn't look upon us as an annoyance.

Absolutely. I completely agree and FULLY understand. I am glad you got the chance for that comfort. My wife certainly didn't on that trip.

I really hope I didn't say anything to tinge that good memory. Sincerely.

1) What do you do in your free time?

I don't have alot of free time but, music and books have always relaxed me. Sundays we always have a big Sunday breakfast and watch Nascar. I luv my Sundays with my family. Camping, gardening (I'm just learning) and many things I wish I had the time to do.

2) What is behind your nick name you have choosen on Lit.

Well I have been Scarlett (from Gone with the Wind) since I got my first computer. The T is from my first name and the #2 is my favorite Nascar driver. I picked Scarlett because even tho she was a ass on the outside she was a strong and determined women. I wanted to be strong like her.

3) What are your favorite shows and books. I love American Chopper, and I like Survivor (bows Head). I don't watch alot of T.V. but I like the Discovery Channel and the History Channel. I also luv SpongeBob SquarePants. Books- Gone With the Wind, anything by Terry C. Johnson, Forever Amber, I love biograhys, I could go on and on ......

4)If you could be anything job wise what would you do.

I would buy about 1000 acres of land build a big main house and a few cabins and have a hunting ranch. That is my dream....someday!!!

5) If you could ask someone famous one question what would it be?

He not famous to anyone but me....but I would ask my husband why me? How did I get so lucky. As for the famous person there are to many different ones I have a bunch of questions for.

Great thread I like reading about everyone.

Limbhugger-
not at all hun. I spent to many years as an army wife to not know that more then half of the charm was probably show, and I know a great many wives who didn't get that charming smile and reassuring arm about the shoulder that I did, but rather got flatly told that it wasn't in the best interest of national security to reveal any information as to their loved ones. For me thankfully it was a positive experience with a memeber of the military brass that came on the heels of my husbands CO forcing us to move up our wedding by more then six months and telling me bluntly when I asked him if there wasn't anything they could do to avoid the expense, headache, etc. " Ma'am if the Army wanted David to have a wife they'd have issued him one so I suggest you get used to the headache."
The memory is still intact as a good one.;)

almost everyone likes stephen king, so do i my fav. is salem's lot. and if i could ask someone famous something it would be heath ledger and my question would be "will you fuck me".
so anyway, more questions,
besides being talked to or touched what gets you in the mood. i love to dance, that always gets me hot.
what is your fav. drink, of anykind, mine is coke with everclear.
what is your best or worst child hood memeory. mine is of my dad screaming at my mom because he thought she cheated on him.

Hmmm being a guy I get turned on by visual imagery. My wife in lingerie.... GRRRRRRRR :D

2 What is your fav. drink, of anykind?

I'm not really a drinker, so I'd have to say its a toss up between Coffee, Iced Tea and Diet Pepsi

3 What is your best or worst child hood memory.

For four years I attended a summer camp down in the florida keys that taught the campers Marine Biology and Environmental Science. Its probably some of the best times I had as a child. I even got to meet Jaques Costeau (sp?) during that time.

Worst time? Same place, the last year, I had a diving accident which resulted in my being unable to scuba dive, that accident, while painful at the time, forced me to change directions in my life. I felt, and still feel that a marine biologist that can't scuba dive is sort of a lame duck. So I chose another direction for my life.

4 What is the sweetest, most romantic thing someone has done for you.

Hmmmmm well the wife and I are very touchy feely, but we don't seem to go into the gushy romance stuff. One of the nicest memories I have is waking up and finding her arms wrapped around me. Simple, but it gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

anything that can make you laugh is good for me and my wife.....also when we get together and fix sushi at home.....

what is your fav. drink.

one of my magaritas on the rocks.....she loves pina coladas and amaretto sours

what is your best or worst child hood memeory.

I really dont worry about good and bad memories anymore.....no matter what happened in the past....but without those experiences i would not be the man i am now.

and what is the sweetest, most romantic thing someone has done for you.

after five years with my love it all runs together.....its the little things that matter most.....letting you sleep in instead of getting up with the kid..... being able to take a nap in the afternoon......

read, play with my kid, pamper my lover

long story, explained earlier in this thread.. if you REALLY have to know, you can go find it.. ;)

3) what are your favorite shows, or books

terry pratchett books, ER, & Who's line is it anyway, AND! anything on History channel or Discovery Channel

4) if you could be anything in job wise what would you want to do.
what im doing now.

5) and if you could ask someone famous one question what would it be and why.
just cause somebodys famous doesnt mean i want to talk to them.. the only effect famous people have on my life is entertainment.

besides being talked to or touched what gets you in the mood?
well much like Burrish I love to go out dancing. I get turned on faster then anything if I happen to look across the dance floor and see somebody watching me.

what is your fav. drink, of anykind?
I like a well made margarita, but it has to have good tequila in it or it's not worth my time. Other then that I go for a Tom Collins or a Cuervo with a fat fresh wedge of lime. Non-alcoholic drink fave is without a doubt AW creme soda.

what is your best or worst childhood memory?
Best childhood memory is a probably from highschool. I lost the lead in a school play to a girl I wasn't particularly fond of and in the end it was my performance that stole her thunder.
Worst childhood memory is my loosing my dad.

what is the sweetest, most romantic thing someone has done for you?
The sweetest most romantic thing ever done for me....hmmmm?? I guess that would be right after the birth of my first child. My husband was walking her out of the delivery room and down to the nursery he stopped at the door with Liz in his arms turned around and looked at me and whispered "Thank You."
