Today is my oldest daughter's birthday. She is 17, I just want to say what a joy she has been in my life! I have watched her grown from the chubby little bald-headed big blue-eyed baby to the beautiful young lady she is today. Still with the big blue eyes, but thankfully she did grow a nice headful of hair.
She makes us proud. We are celebrating her life today in our house.
I want to let her know she has never been a burden to us no matter what was going on and our lives are all richer for knowing her.

I have shared this with her and I just wanted to share with y'all too.

Hi ShyLady, I too will have a 17 year old daughter soon, so I know how you feel. Mine will turn a year older in May. She was born on Mother's Day, which was quite the surprise. I also have one turning 14 in December, which is not too far away I might add. Time sure flys when you are having fun, that's for sure!

The best to your daugher on her special day. I hope you all enjoy it to the max.

Remember, yesterday is already a dream, tomorrow is only a vison. But today well lived, makes every yesterday, a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
