Very simple question. Are you better off now than you were two years ago, or worse off?

I can't wait to see the results on this one.

I am better off, even though I am still unemployed.

Morning, RED.

Morning, Rose

Hmmmm . . . ahem . . . gargle, gargle . . . really?

Worse...

Technically the same, but I'm twenty-five now, and I haven't moved forward...so...

Killswitch

Yeah, I guess I should have made that clear. I meant financially, economically. Is your material well-being better or worse than it was two years ago?

I am better off financially.

Couldn't have anything to do with hard work, drive, motivation, focusing on what is important to me though.

I'm just "one of the fortunate few"

I voted about the same, but I am probably a little better off than I was 2 years ago. Certainly no worse than that.

Since the dark shadow fell across the land, most Americans are worse off.

And the dark lord Sauron began rebuilding his armies and turning Mordor into a fortress.

i'm doing exactly the same as I was two years ago...which means I haven't seen a raise in two years either!

I knew I shouldn't have bitten...

Here I thought this was a poll, not a commentary by REDWAVE..

Silly me.....

Financially Im not in as good as shape as I was 2 years ago, My financial condition has nothing to do with who is in the White House, it has to do with my own choices. Whether you admit it or not Rewave the economy started to tank in the fall of 1998. Economic cycles are just that. Cycles.

According to whom? And what dark shadow? It's sunny where we are pal... just too damned windy today.

Financially? Emotionally? Outlook? Which?

If you are going to ask a question at least be specific.

Well.....I am far worse off financially. That has nothing to do with the National economy......It has everything to do with me marrying a girl with three kids.

I wouldnt change it right now for the world....but its god damned expensive.

Not to be a dick but have you ever tried reading a thread to see if an obvious question has already been asked, and susequently answered?

But that would require effort - and I never expend effort to read one of RW's threads; it is a total waste of time. :D

I think redrump is going to be disappointed. Better off is in the lead. It's hard to bash the current system when people think they're doing "better." Of course, red is resilient, he'll find a way!
