Bernie!

I got that. And if you'd bother to read, which I must point out you never do because you're too busy nursing your butt hurt, you'll see you're in fact quite wrong.

Anyway, I'm done with you and moving on.

You're the only one with butt hurt bro.....nothing you posted proved me wrong or was even on topic, you're just a hysterical libhurhul nut who makes the left look bad.

Someone get Bernie's dumb ass on the phone and tell him he needs a 21 year old with a Youtube channel who wants to be famous. The only way a vote to end Private Prisons accomplishes ANYTHING is if he goes viral and nobody can ignore his message. Cus it's gonna go down like a Thai Hooker on pay day so it's purely symbolic. But symbols only matter if people see them.

The Best of Bernie ... SO FAR!

On Youth Unemployment
"We got to put young people to work, we got to give them an education, rather than putting them in jail," Sanders said in an interview on MSNBC's "The Ed Show."

On The Middle Class
"Ordinary people are profoundly disgusted with the fact that the middle class is being destroyed and income going to the top 1 percent," Sanders tweeted.

On Gun Control
"Folks who do not like guns [are] fine. But we have millions of people who are gun owners in this country -- 99.9 percent of those people obey the law. I want to see real, serious debate and action on guns, but it is not going to take place if we simply have extreme positions on both sides. I think I can bring us to the middle," Sanders said in a CNN interview.

On Free Tuition
"It is insane and counter-productive to the best interests of our country, that hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college, and that millions of others leave school with a mountain of debt that burdens them for decades. That must end," Sanders said during his campaign announcement.

On Wanting Top Marginal Tax Rate Over 50 Percent
"In the last 30 years there has been a massive -- we’re talking about many trillions of dollars being redistributed from the middle class to the top one-tenth of 1 percent. It is time to redistribute money back to the working families of this country from the top one-tenth of 1 percent," Sanders said on PBS's "Charlie Rose."

On Marijuana
“I coughed a lot, I don’t know. I smoked marijuana twice -- didn’t quite work for me,” Sanders told Yahoo.

On Universal Health Care
"So I do believe that we have to move toward a Medicare-for-all, single-payer system. I think it's not going to happen tomorrow, but that certainly should be the goal," Sanders said on ABC’s "This Week."

On Police Reform
"We’ve got to demilitarize the police -- we don’t need tanks, you don’t need heavy military equipment in the communities of the United States. We gotta pay attention to the African-American communities, to poverty so these kids get the education and job training they need," Sanders told Yahoo.

On His American Citizenship
"Well, no, I do not have dual citizenship with Israel. I'm an American. I don't know where that question came from. I am an American citizen, and I have visited Israel on a couple of occasions. No, I'm an American citizen, period,” Sanders said in an interview with a D.C. NPR affiliate.

On Health Care And Education
"Please don't tell me that the United States of America, our great country, cannot guarantee health care to all people. Don't tell me that every person in this country should not be able to get all the education that they need regardless of their income," Sanders said in Portland, Maine.

On Campaign Finance Reform
"A major problem of our campaign finance system is that anybody can start a super PAC on behalf of anybody and can say anything. And this is what makes our current campaign finance situation totally absurd," Sanders said to the Burlington Free Press.

On Undocumented Immigrants
"Despite the central role that undocumented workers play in our economy and in our daily lives, these workers are too often reviled by many for political gain and shunted into the shadows," Sanders said at the National Association of Latino Elected Officials conference.

On Bank Bailouts (My personal favorite)
"If a bank is too big to fail, that bank is too big to exist," Sanders said in Denver, Colorado.

On Raising The Minimum Wage
"Our goal as a nation is that if somebody works 40 hours a week, that person will not be living in poverty," Sanders said in Iowa.

On The War On Drugs
"What I can tell you is this: We have far, far, far too many people in jail for nonviolent crimes, and I think in many ways, the war against drugs has not been successful, and I think we've got to rethink that," Sanders told Yahoo News' Katie Couric.

On Youth Unemployment
"We got to put young people to work, we got to give them an education, rather than putting them in jail," Sanders said in an interview on MSNBC's "The Ed Show."

He has a firm grasp of the obvious. However he fails to mention that the education is available, if those young people refrain from dropping out and getting drugged up.

On The Middle Class
"Ordinary people are profoundly disgusted with the fact that the middle class is being destroyed and income going to the top 1 percent," Sanders tweeted.

I believe if you investigate it, you will see that the middle class is even more disgusted with so much of their hard-earned money going to people who have never worked a lick.

I seriously doubt he can.

On Free Tuition
"It is insane and counter-productive to the best interests of our country, that hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college, and that millions of others leave school with a mountain of debt that burdens them for decades. That must end," Sanders said during his campaign announcement.

Lotsa Luck. The real problem, in my estimation, is that too many people go to college to waste time on things like Liberal Arts.

Depending on where the marginal rate begins, that is a sure way to kill incentive.

On Marijuana
“I coughed a lot, I don’t know. I smoked marijuana twice -- didn’t quite work for me,” Sanders told Yahoo.

It should be your choice to smoke it or not.

On Universal Health Care
"So I do believe that we have to move toward a Medicare-for-all, single-payer system. I think it's not going to happen tomorrow, but that certainly should be the goal," Sanders said on ABC’s "This Week."

Too much malingering and too much waste and inefficiency. Take a look at the administration of VA hospitals to get an idea. At the same time, it might help keep prices more in line.

On Police Reform
"We’ve got to demilitarize the police -- we don’t need tanks, you don’t need heavy military equipment in the communities of the United States. We gotta pay attention to the African-American communities, to poverty so these kids get the education and job training they need," Sanders told Yahoo.

I would rather err on the side of caution than to have the cops outgunned.

The education is available if people want to take advantage of it.

On Campaign Finance Reform
"A major problem of our campaign finance system is that anybody can start a super PAC on behalf of anybody and can say anything. And this is what makes our current campaign finance situation totally absurd," Sanders said to the Burlington Free Press.

This is a problem, but providing funding for all campaigns would make it worse.

On Undocumented Immigrants
"Despite the central role that undocumented workers play in our economy and in our daily lives, these workers are too often reviled by many for political gain and shunted into the shadows," Sanders said at the National Association of Latino Elected Officials conference.

For the most part, they're a drag on the economy, but they do make some contributions.

The problems with a high minimum wage is that so many marginal jobs will be eliminated and "the ripple effect" for those that remain.

On The War On Drugs
"What I can tell you is this: We have far, far, far too many people in jail for nonviolent crimes, and I think in many ways, the war against drugs has not been successful, and I think we've got to rethink that," Sanders told Yahoo News' Katie Couric.

I agree whole-heartedly, especially regarding MJ.

Bernie Sanders finds his revolutionary rhetoric resonating in conservative Iowa

A succession of opinion polls showed him catching and then overtaking the establishment frontrunner Hillary Clinton in the early primary state of New Hampshire – injecting sudden drama into a race that most pundits had initially decided was barely worth following compared with the excitement of the enormous Republican field, currently dominated by businessman and TV personality Donald Trump.

But what is new is the sight of Sanders challenging Clinton in Iowa, the first state to choose a candidate – in caucuses held on 1 February – and the scene of her humiliating defeat by Barack Obama in 2008.

Go Bernie, GO!

“The American people are sick and tired with establishment politics, sick and tired of establishment economics and sick and tired of establishment media,” he says as a freight train hoots hauntingly in the distance. “They want to see a government in which the American people and the middle class are represented rather than big money interests.”

And despite the overwhelming consensus in Washington that his campaign will ultimately flame out much like that of Dean, when Sanders talks about what he will do when he is in the White House, there is a feeling in the crowd that this is not such a laughable idea.

“When we stand together we win because there are a helluva lot more of us than there are of them,” concludes the Vermont insurgent. “We have a very simple message to the billionaire class: you cannot have it all.”
If Bernie can win over Iowa, why not Texas too?

Hillary is getting BERNED!!

Senator Bernie Sanders will win the Democratic nomination in 2016 not only because he can type an email without nationwide controversy, but also because he's exhibited a monumental surge in the polls. This ascent within the hearts and minds of Democrats began several months ago, and will only continue with greater name recognition.

Hillary will get the nomination and you will like it.....

The guy is like Ron Paul but for the left. He wants to actually do something other than the same old same old....that makes him totally undetectable.

Friendly wager on that?

Friendly wager on that?

Nothing to really wager over the net like this...but whatever

He's a funny looking old white guy, Hillary is going to crush him with that alone.

And even with alllllllll the Trumpsters trumpeting I bet we wind up Bush v. Clinton....it's already been bought and paid for, I'm just enjoying the dog and pony show they play out to make us all feel like we have a say so in the matter.

Silly Hilly still leads, but Bernie is gaining. Personally, I think the main reason he is gaining is that Hilly's chicanery is becoming better known. I will probably vote against either of them, but that remains to be seen. http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/05/politics/bernie-sanders-hillary-clinton-nervous/

I get to choose your avatar, and visa-versa for 30 days following the primary. That would be my suggestion for a wager over the net like this.

Nah I like my skunk...

You can call me a twat though if Bernie makes it.

I think once the masses, the Kardashian followers jump in on the matter and it's not just the crazies a year and a half 2 years out from the election who give a shit, Hillary is going to "It's time a Woman was in office~!" right into the WH over Bush who won't be able to overcome his brothers bullshit. She won't even have to lie out ass all day with bullshit promises we all know she won't keep...."woman" sold! to democrat voters!

If the GOP has the balls to run Trump? The Duck Dynasty watchers will put him in office.... I don't think they will thought. I think once all the middle grounders join in it will be Bush...because Bush.

DNC doesn't have the nuts, guts or spine to run Bern. Hope I'm wrong....but I think all Hillary has to do is ask.

Or in short we're not suicidally stupid. Running Bernie would be like the right running Palin. You do it for fun when you know you can't win already so what's the harm? If you have any chance at all you don't go with an extremist like that.

Bernie is not an extremist. It is sad that his necessary and prudent policy positions are thought to be extreme.

Bernie is not an extremist. It is sad that his necessary and prudent policy positions are thought to be extreme.

Bernie a major extremist and everybody who's paid any attention to American Politics at all knows he's an extremist. You pretty much have just him and Elizabeth Warrn who are putting forth these positions at all for fucks sake. Nobody else in the Democrat Party is singing that song, in fact most of them are tacking well to the right of him. Hillary may be adjusting her message to sound more like him because he's turning some heads but that's about it.

I don't disagree that his policies are necessary, even vital to the success of the country. Nor do I argue that they are prudent. I agree with most of his views and I only say most because I'm not staring at his all his policies as type this so maybe he's got some batshit crazy idea I haven't heard or simply forgot because it has no chance of happening. (I do the same for the Pauls. I know Ron wants to end the Federal Reserve but since the chances of that happening are only slightly higher than America rejoining the British Empire that's only something to be aware of because of other shit he might try.) That does not make him any less extreme. How much I agree or disagree with you does not make a measure of how close to the median opinion of the United States you are. If we are grading him globally. . .he'd still probably end up left of center but maybe if that's your score care he's not an extremist. But judged merely by his peers? He and Warren are by far the most extreme mainstream left politicians. They are so far off they are practically playing their own game.

To most Americans he is the Ron Paul fringe whack job lefty of the DNC no one really takes seriously. Puts on a fun show and says shit we all know he's right about but will get him assassinated before he gets elected.....he's an extremist.

Even RP had some good god damn points....everyone on the RW that wasn't a total Bush dick suck loved him. Shit I'd still vote for the guy over anyone on the RW today including Jr. for the simple fact he was the only guy who didn't seem to be caving to GOP established status quo of wall st./DOD/Defense contractor dick sucking.

We really should cut back spending in some place and piss or get off the pot already in others and he was the only RW actually saying as much.

Then a couple months before election when the masses finally got involved he got fucking CRUSHED by god damn ROMNEY....lol and it's because he was a loony fucking extremist that threatened to much real change too fast. Just like Bern.

She may try to sound like him but she won't behave like him....she's going to get in office and bend the country over for her campaign contributors the second she's sworn in.

OK. Name the these so-called extremist policy position(s) advocated by the Bern.

More jobs and a living wage: Inside Bernie Sander’s drive to lock up the labor vote

Extreme Labor Supporter?

Union activist Cliff Smith once thought of Bernie Sanders as an “obscure” U.S. senator. That changed in August when Smith joined 27,000 people to hear the Democratic White House candidate speak at a Los Angeles sports arena.

“The other candidates – they talk in these very calculated, milquetoast, vague ways – they just don’t come across as human,” said Smith, the business manager for Local 36, a branch of a roofers’ union. “He just seems like your next-door neighbor.”

He walks picket lines, thinks that a living wage should be the result of good economic policy and wants to create more jobs. That does not sound extreme to me.

If he were advocating workers taking over factories, that would seem extreme.

We aren't talking about what YOU think or these little groups of people think....what does the 150 million Kardashian fans who might vote (D) think. Bernie the weird looking/sounding white male socialist? Or the more middle of the road better looking can talk all fucking day long and say NOTHING professional snake in the grass slime ball car used car salesman/lawyer/politician/liar Hillary Clinton who won't rock the boat much if at all.

Living Wage = Communism.....try again....

You do realize he is running in the USA right? Not some evil totalitarian Communist regime like France, Norway or Sweden right?

We'd rather pay insurance companies 3x the price for less HC because freedumber than fuck, than have that evil socialist shit in our country.

He is advocating a federal minimum wage of $15.00 per hour, which is more than twice the current min. of $7.25. This would result in high unemployment and increased prices. Did you ever hear of "Stagflation?"
