"Because it's there."

Oh, nice.

So, you are doing it for the pleasure and art. I like that. I hope you get to do it for money later if you so desire.

:)

I love art, and like learning new things like that. When you are ready to learn this stuff, feel free to PM and I will give you the info on where I am doing this stuff.

I am glad I am not you. Your case requires it to work at a deadline even. If I fail, I can simply start something else.

:D

I was thinking about the melting thing and Hubby and I think that the skew tool might work for you. Have you tried it for that yet?

Yes, that may work for preliminary tweaking.

I was also thinking about liquefy and the smidge tools. I am sure there are many other things to make it more realistic like cloning, cloning the background, etc, etc....

I adore art. I usually work with just free-hand drawing. I use a lot of mediums from charcoal to color pencils. Depending on my mood. All for fun, of course. I would love to make a living off my inspired pieces, but well... it is hard. I can't paint at all. I've tried so many times.

But, I have always and actually recently been gaining thought about checking out PS and what I can do with it. It is interesting.

I will definitely take you up on that offer! Thank you much!

Oh yeah, I think you will have to use several different tools. I was just thinking that the skew might come in handy. The liquify should be useful as well then you will just need to clean it up with your cloning and other tools.

Have you worked with water like I was talking about earlier? You seemed to know how much frustration that would cause when you answered that you were glad you didn't have to do it for a job and on a deadline.

I painted a few times, doing backdrops for plays. It was tedious. I much prefer pencils, pen/ink and other direct mediums.

Yes, among other things. I can show you some of the chops I did in the past and can give you a general idea.

That would be cool. I would show you mine, but they are HUGE mosaics and not my property.

That is fine, I am not one to ask to see some intellectual property or trade secret.

Oh, if I had 'em, I would show 'em, because they were some very nice work. I just don't have access since I don't work there anymore. :)

Yep, I agree totally.

I can't paint on canvas at all. I have used paint for animation art/cells. It is rather painful at times, but very different format.

So, you draw as well. Very good. I'm always excited to meet fellow "artists"...

Yes, for about 20+ years.

That is amazing! *impressed*

Did you go to school for it?

No. I want to someday, because some things I have not fully developed yet such as hands, feet, and basic realism such as relationships.

Those are very cool Wok! I like the old man with the unicycle and the Escher. In the genderbending pic, did you use a pic of Nancy Pelosi? Just wondering...

No, Hillary. :p

Gotcha. Good luck!

I decided to skip the school route. I don't know if I will regret that at some point, but it seemed like the right choice.

Formal training might be good, because if you do stuff and develop bad habits, they are very, very difficult to break. I regret it now.

OMG! LMAO! I knew the female parts seemed familiar.

I got this chop I never finished called "quitting time" where somebody does something to get fired. So I did a guy at a Senate hearing playing a trumpet with the senator looking at the guy.

I should finish it.

That is true. I never thought of that.

You are incredibly talented. Thanks for sharing!
