If you are like me, then you love to travel. I have found some interesting links that are kink friendly for those who want a vacation on the wild side.

If you coulld, would you go on a vacation that was BDSM themed or sponsored?

Feel free to post your thoughts on vacations BDSM style. If you have websites, please post them here.

Yes, I would love to go on a BDSM theme vacation with the special someone that I could trust.

I couldn't do random play with a stranger.

How much more fun could a cruise or an isle of delights be?

:D

Yes indeed, MissT, a trip would be something attempted by two (or more) people who have an established relationship.

Speaking of kinky vacations...

I don't know if you know about the yearly Roissy cruise (Roissy Society = international BDSM group = http://www.roissy.com/ ) to the Caribbean or not - but they have one each year. I've known about them before but could never go. (Here's the link for the cruise info: http://pages.prodigy.net/sbaier/rcruise.htm )

I'm going next year. So are more than a couple people from this place, and if they want to make thier names public, they will. However, i'm going, as is Tex, and there will be others from here, too.

Last week i spoke with the woman (Sunni, vacation planner at Creative Tours & Event Planning, 410-825-5039) who is putting this whole Roissy Cruise thing together. She told me that she's already booked and sold 2/3 of her allotment of cabins for this cruise, and that there are only a few left. I expressed dismay that there were so few ocean view cabins left, indicating that i knew i wanted one and that another couple (people from here) wanted, one, too. I told her that i knew of others who were almost certainly going and that they, too, might want one. She said that she could, possibly, call the cruise line and get more (i guess different travel agents get allotments of cabins, all different types, to sell beforehand) but that she was astounded at how quickly this cruise is filling up.

I don't think she was just feeding me a line either.

(An aside. I've been on cruises before. You don't want an inside cabin if you're at all prone to claustrophobia or motion sickness. Trust me on this.)

Anyway, you have to book these cabins in pairs. You can't book them alone. You can, however, send her an email addy and tell her that you want to go, that you want a female/male roommate, a smoking/nonsmoking roomate and she'll try to pair you with someone else from someplace else who is going alone, too. The best thing is to go in pairs, though. Then you know who your roomie is.

It's a 5 day cruise on the Carnival line that's leaving from Florida on October 4th 2003 (that's in a year, not a month). One of the days is a land day (and a pass) to the Jamaican resort called Hedonism (http://www.superclubs.com/brand_hedonism/resort_hedonismii/), a world renowned BDSM resort (actually, it's billed as "clothes optional, kink friendly"). There's a topless bathing deck on the ship. BDSM activities 24/7, watch or join in. Some of us will meet in whatever city the ship is sailing from at least the night before to say hello.

I've already sent my check to them, as have others from here. Perhaps you'll decide to join us.

You know, I think someone told me about it last year, but I did not remember the details.

I knew this was a good thread to start.

I have even heard that there are BDSM campsites. Now, camping is not my thing anymore (been there, done that), I am a lady of leisure when I travel. I do nothing that might break a nail!

Thanks cym for posting this. There may be folks who want to go. I am vacationing with vanilla, and I do not know if a BDSM cruise is to his liking.

The cruise is not only for BDSM'ers. There's an entire cruise ship open here, only 1/3-1/2 of which will be filled with kinky folks like us. From what Sunni told me on the phone, it's a Carnival ship, one of the big ones. There will be some room (a big cabin? a...events room? some kinda meeting room?) that will be for the use of the BDSM'ers, 24/7 during the cruise. It'll be outfitted (by the Roissy Society?) with dungeon stuff. SSC rules will be in effect. General public playspace etiquette will be required.

Additionally, there's an upper deck pool that'll be clothing optional. I'm not sure if this means *all* clothing or just breasts-bared - but it'll be something we don't often get to have here in the U.S., that's for sure.

However at least 1/2 of the people on this ship will be non-BDSM'ers - or at least, non-out-BDSM'ers. We can walk around in fetish attire, all over the ship, and collared and leashed, for example, but we still have to obey ship etiquette. For example, there's a dress code on every cruise ship i've been on (3) for the semi-formal evening dinner. (Don't worry all you casual types - you can always skip that dinner and go through any of the 24/7 buffet lines that are all over cruise ships.) So we couldn't go into that seating for that dinner wearing a leather harness and a bathing suit, you know?

Sunni told me that the other people, the non-BDSM'ers, who want to book a place on this ship will be told of our presence. They'll know we're there. We won't have to hide. But it won't be *just* us there, either. (I'm pretty sure this cruise is going be a big one for all the international class voyeurs. :D )

Non-BDSM'er companion or not - this'll be a fun cruise.

Thanks for the info. I will show it to him. He is one of those "I'll try anything once" kinda guys. He might enjoy it. I thank he may want to go earlier that October 2003 though. It sounds great!

Voyeurs? That's me. :)

Unfortunately, the "international class" leaves us out. :(

Sounds like fun, though.

House of Shadowfind in Michigan is a lifestyle bed and breakfast. One of our local slaves has just became trainer for the different protocols for some of his slaves. Very nice place. :)

I've heard quite a bit about that place. I'd like to check it out sometime!

As long as Sam says you are, who cares what anyone says?

There are lots who think I am a lousy Domme, but to the ones who matter (sissy & bitchboy), I am da bomb!

Thanks for getting the link!

My pleasure, Eb. It's only about a three hour drive for us, so we may well get a chance to go there sometime.

On my to-do-list for today was making reservations and sending my money in for this.

It's very high on tomorrow's to-do-list. I'm definitely going. I mentioned it very briefly to MD tonight and he's probably going, too.

OOOh I would love to take a BDSM themed vacation. It's a subject of one of my stories....

I got this in my email box today...

Hi [my name]:

I got your reservation form and check today. You didn't put a stateroom selection on there, but I'm assuming by the amount of the check you want an ocean view (window) cabin, is that correct?

I'll get this processed today and your receipt and confirmation out in the morning mail.

Thanks,

Sunni

I'm telling you, this trip is going to be fabulous!

Come on..come on...come play with those of us from here, and from Lit in general, who will be aboard.

You can pay as little as $100 now, i think, to hold your reservation, and then pay the balance monthly over the next next year. (Just stop having a latte every morning on your way to work and you can probably pay for it with the money you save that way!)

October 2003 Roissy cruise update

Right here next to my elbow, boys and girls and bois, i've got my official cruise confirmation info.

We're going to be sailing abord a Carnival lines ship called the Imagination (http://www.1cruise.com/carnival/imagination/). Tex and i have a category 6 cabin, ocean view (the actual cabin will be assigned to us later).

Y'all should really consider joining the several people from here who will be getting ready to go aboard this ship next year at this time.
