BDSM in Alabama

Alabama must be the most conservative state in the union. I know there have to be BDSM couples around lower Alabama, but they are hard to find. Heck, even the Playboy channel and sexual toys are censored here. We like meeting other couples involved in BDSM and sharing, but it sure is difficult. OK, I will quit crying now. Hope others are finding the pastures greener.

I know what you mean. I'm in Tuscaloosa and even if there were a lot of BDSM clubs, I wouldn't be able to get into them because you have to be 19, unlike every other state in the country where you only have to be 18. *Sigh* Five more months...

Actually, there is a scene in Birmingham, and even over here in NE MS. For instance, there are two local munch groups in this part of MS, and a Bed and Bondage in Columbus. It is just very hard to find out about them without an inside connection, thanks to the arch conservative nature of the Deep South. I am afraid I can not provide that link in AL, but I know it is there, as I met a number of people from there that came up to Columbus for a Halloween party last year.

Many, many times I will be talking to someone. They complain there is "nothing going on" in their area. This is not true in most cases.
