Oh, and if you ever want to have a job in IT, make sure you do not argue with one of the people that have influence on whether or not you'll be hired.

Yesterday, some idiot was arguing with a bunch of us on a local literature and book forum, saying that we were all going to hell because of our outrage at legislation signed yesterday in Indiana: basically legalized bigotry against LGBTQ community. He ranted for a few hours, sending novella-length answers, with Biblical quotations. He had previously stated that he was a computer programmer and was sending resumes out.

After his ill-informed tirates ended, I texted my cousin who owns a tech consulting and temp employee agency, gave her his name, just in case the fool had sent in his. ten minutes later, she told me his had arrived the day before and it appeared to be a good one. I didn't have to tell her: She told me she was placing it in the bottom of the "Slush Pile" - where all questionable resumes and applications go to be checked out and carefully researched.

I checked in with them this morning. There are over 30 resumes in that pile. I might be able to get to it by the middle of next month.

Was up late, slept late, feeling like a zombie. But the I won the washing machine lottery this morning so it's all good!

LOL. I tried to stay up and watch the MSU basketball game but ended up heading to bed a little after midnight. Had to be up at 6 so little sleep and feel like a zombie also.

My mistake was slipping back into sleep after I locked the door behind my friend at 5am. I was much more awake then.

LOL. We got an Amber alert at 5:20 this morning. I felt the same way as you. I was awake and felt good when the alarm for that went off
