As a card-carrying member of Cardinals Nation I approve the above message.
I wish people would stop trying to change the pace of the game. The game is subtle, its pace allows us to reflect, to second-guess, to play GM or manager, and best of all, to argue. I admit I have a baseball bias, but I do not hear the same number of off-season arguments about football or what used to be the sport they now call basketball.
Baseball lives 365/24/7.

The Yanks will shock baseball and win the 2013 World Series.....you heard it here first. SI has them at 82-80.....3 rd place behind Tampa and Toronto. Don't count them out....they have a bunch of guys who know how to win. They are longer in the tooth than your average walrus, this much we can't argue about. Experience does go a long way though.
