A week ago I was talking with some people and the conversation somehow got to Barney. You know the purple dinosaur thingy.

Anyway, one person said that he absolutely hates Barney and would kick his ass if he saw him on the street. I asked why...and he said, because he's so Gay.

I thought that was a stupid thing to say. Really stupid. I explained, that Barney's target audience are kids and not adults. So with that said...I asked him, If you had kids and they loved Barney and they saw you kick his ass on the street. What message are you telling them?

What do you all think?

1. Anyone who resorts to violence against puppets should not have breeded in the first place.

2. Barney is annoying. Sesame Street has better puppets singing better songs, with more educational messages.

I think I wish Barney was never created. Gimme Sesame Street any day.

Okay personally I think that Barney is part of a consiracy to brainwash the next generations of Americans. PURE EVIL.

As far as showing your little one what violence really is. Nah, show them something they already know. Manipulation.

I too prefer Sesame STreet. But I have no opinion about Barney. I have no kids and I've never seen the show. I saw TeleTubbies once and I still didn't get it. lol

I agree. Seseme street over Barney any day. But at least he's not as bad as teletubbies.

Ugh. Teletubbies are worse than Barney. They teach absolutely NOTHING. A total waste of bandwidth.

Teletubbies are evil too!

what are we talking about here. Pastel colored aliens with broadcasting implants??

I don't think there IS a point. LOL. Just mindless amusements to keep kids staring at a screen that will turn their brains to mush.

There is no point to teletubbies, unless you wanna argue the conspiracy to make it a normal thing for the next generation of kids to accept all kind of implants in your body including a tv screen in you left eye. so you'll never miss another episode of "Sex And the City" again.

Teletubbies was created so the gorverment could get public backup for human testing with cybernetic implants sometime within the next 10 years.

Then again it could just be somebody on Crack drawing an outline on a napkin.

Some people started singing it,

There's a reason why the teletubbies are popular.

Studies found that newborns and infants find soft rounded features soothing, and that melodic speech patterns often lull them to sleep. The teletubbies weren't made for anyone over 2 years old. Those at itsy bitsy capitalized on these findings and created the teletubbies.

Anyone with an infant sings their blessings. Yes, that's why they are aired at 2am in some markets.
