If the press suddenly began doing their jobs as investigators and skeptics, Obama's approval rating might fall into single digits.
Can you imagine how they would have reacted if Bush went on national TV with his NCAA picks?
Professor Hanson is one of these "back to the land" assholes who can afford to live on a farm because he's got tenure for life at Fresno State-they can't fire him for anything less than a major felony. It's classic welfare state socialism that funds his estate, but that doesn't stop him from moralizing about the benefits of free market solutions. So he writes these columns from his farm in Selma, a few miles down the road from Fresno, about the sanctity of private land and private enterprise and the life lessons of farming.
Liberals have had the rude awakening to discover their viewpoint is in the minority, of course smarter folks have known this all along.

I believe an appropriate word might be "prescient."![]()
James LewisThere's plenty of evidence for coordinated propaganda lies in the media. We even have an apology from Roger Simon of Politico for the corrupt and massive coordination of media headlines using the JournOlist email list. They say they've dropped JournOlist, but they are still at it every single day, probably through a secure website. We know that the Washington Post, the NYT (all the news you're allowed to think), and the UK Guardian (an old Stalinist rag, as Malcolm Muggeridge revealed in his autobiography), are talking to each other all the time.
In fact, the Washington Post just reported on a journOliar "boot camp" for junior leftocrats to learn to how lie to millions of others. Yes, it's a boot camp for liars in training!
That's how a minority cult of brainwashed leftists stay in power in the Western world. But don't think the oil-rich radical Muslims haven't figured it out. How do you think the Islamophobia rumor got started? How else could all the liberals in the world suddenly discover a new kind of "racism" that doesn't exist?
Where's Seanh? I read the other day where the BBC is actively seeking out American news feeds to prevent a full blown anti-American leftist bias.![]()

http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/03/crusaders_at_work.htmlAnd so it goes, that at least according to Vladimir Putin the Obama Administration had just signed America up for a crusade. The irony is truly world class and one for the history books.
First in a truly delicious domestic moment on Saturday March 19, 2011 many members of Code Pink were arrested at a White House protest. It was amazing that they were arrested in significant numbers while protesting "Bush's Iraq war for oil" -- while at that very moment President Obama was launching cruise missiles to start his Libyan War for British oil.
I guess Code Pink didn't get that memo.
No doubt stubbing his fingers all the way home.
After observing President Obama for the last three years, it has become obvious to me that the president might prefer to be a university professor rather than do the job he holds today. While he might not realize that he feels this way, the evidence is very clear to those who work with or watch him closely.
Let me be clear — I’m not trying to disparage professors. But anyone who wonders why the president is not crushing the weak Republican field only needs to examine how President Obama has behaved more like Professor Obama:

AJ just loves articles where they ascribe positions to people, then criticize them for holdin' these positions....
I bitched about Bush for six years, and through all that time the Republicans on this board never trashed me the way the Democrats do now that "their guy" is "in charge."
They were angry when Bush was President, but they seem even more angry now that Obama is President.
Maybe it's just disappointment.
In the president’s first year in office, his administration suffered from what I call “idea disease.” Every week, and sometimes almost every day, the administration rolled out a new program for the country. There was no obvious prioritization and, after the rollout, very little effort to actually pass the latest idea/imperative/plan/edict. Instead, the new programs just kept coming, with the new proposals constantly stepping on the previous day’s message. This rampant “idea disease” squandered the tremendous goodwill generated by the Obama campaign’s message of “hope,” tainting the president’s personal appeal. As Democrats in Congress, we often felt like we were drinking water out of a fire hose...,
