Back To Black

only a few and the ones I can see are well... let's just say far from black.

At least the colorful trees are gone, now. I edited. Sorry about that, sugared.

I'll get to work replacing the black boxes, too.

Hey no need to apologize to me. Just thought I should let you know your posts weren't showing up. :) You always have interesting pictures to add. The only ones I could see were bright is all. Couldn't tell you what the otheres were like that were missing cause I couldnt's see them. Guess I could have taken down the numbers for you but I'm pressed for time tonight.

Here's a link to the site where I was getting the images from...it's all fractal art, which are mathematical images of the science of complexity (Chaos Theory - The Science of Hidden Order):

http://www.fractalus.com/paul/ Make sure you scroll down to the selection list of images and click on those.

These images represent the patterns found in nature. I'm big on Chaos Theory. :D

Here are some animated fractals...very cool:

permission denied. the artist is a selfish bitch.

Hahahaha!!

Go to my link up there in post 828. Those images are absolutely breathtaking. I think that you may like them.

Yes, I know Corum. Its abstract art.

Well it is, but it's based on the hidden order of nature. The pattern of the web of life. A good exaple of a fractal is a fern frond. Here are a mass of them, but you can see the beautiful pattern that they create...one that is as orderly as a mathematical solution. The science of Chaos, though, is a fuzzy kind of math, and it is about the complex patterns found in nature...holistic (living) math, rather than linear:

This image was taken just after the cream was stirred into the coffee...as you can see, the pattern is as natural (in a state of turbulance) as it is in the fern. These kinds of patterns can be found everywhere in nature, and are infinitely varied:

Sorry about this, HD, I'm highjacking your thread. I'm very passionate about this natural science.

I love it. There's an ancient study of this, like the modern reading of tea leaves or feeling the bumps on your head. In Malaysia and Indonesia, there are deep caverns where they found stalagmites in shapes of ships and men. They even have legends to these stories, where in the old days, kings have the power to put curses on ordinary people and turned them into stones. :)

Yeah, I think animals have it right, too. And the Native Americans...some lifeforms are more aware of these patterns than others. It would behoove the human race to listen to nature...that we are all inextricably linked.

In South America, when they flew the airplanes first time in high altitudes, they found sketches of animals and bugs etched out on the plateau and the desert. No humans could do this unless they used a laser from outer space. And this was created in the old days. These mysteries have stumped men until today.
