Got back home from Texas just last night......wonderful place! My husband's family lives in the Waco area, and we went there for Thanksgiving.
I just want to share a few things I love so much about that state.....

the weather (I am always cold, so heat is great for me!)
the people, everyone is generally sooooo nice
the accent
how everything seems to be spread out enough, so that it has it's own space, instead of buildings being piled up on each other
the rolling hills and huge sky
the sense of pride everyone has about being Texan
real cowboys..........everywhere
Hell on the Red sauce
Mrs. Baird's Pecan Pie snacks
Blue Bell ice cream
the road system (makes a hell of a lot more sense than Cleveland's)
HEB (amazing grocery store)
wide open spaces

Welcome to my world !!!

I am so in love with Texas and I just love living in the great lonestar state.

I have been to Waco myself and its so beautiful there ... so many nice places to go ...

As for H.E.B ... its amazing
:)

I've lived in Houston, been to San Antonio to compete, and some other places. It's a great state, but I prefer my own range (fewer people). The people in Texas just drive too fast and reckless.

Then they get pissed when they get a ticket ;)

I've never been to Texas, but any place filled with cowboys is good for me! :D

Welcome back, Softpeaches! I'm glad you had a safe and wonderful trip! :)

I am just down the road in Fort Worth. I am glad you had a good visit in our state. I love Texas & can't imagine living anywhere else. Come back anytime, lots to see and do in The Metroplex.

Texas is GREAT. I travel there frequently (usually to Austin though I will be going to San Antonio soon). I always have a good time whenever I'm there.

Depending on what you did while you were here, Tyler has them awesome Rose Gardens. Texas is a beautiful state. It tooke me several years to get used to it but we love it now. Then women wow love to feel them while their sexy voice moans my name. vinny

Texas is an amazing place. I'm glad to see that there are so many with tastes for the finer things.

Sorry to be such an ass, but I can't stand Texas. I was there not long ago.

Nothing personal. I just can't stand it. :)

Tyler is set in a beautiful geography, isn't it? And yes, it is rose country.
