The fundamental difference is Democrats want a sensible immigration policy, Republicans want the status quo to remain so that they may continue to demonize Hispanics (the nebulous "Others") and fundraise off of the fear of a Hispanic planet.Yes. Both parties have had decades to pass immigration reform. Hasn’t been achieved since the Reagan administration. The fundamental difference is Democrats want more illegal border crossings, Republicans want none.
