Hi Bandit. I hope your daughter comes to accept that some things are beyond our control. Your grandson will thrive in a place where he feels safe and loved. She can plan for a future for herself and her son without worrying about things like feeding themselves coz the food money's been stolen. :) The extra support from family will help her to be a happier mum.

WQ. I hope you got all the sleep you needed. Your cherubs appreciate your love, support and direct action, I'm sure. :)
I hope the meds for your No1 son are sorted soon.

Hi to everyone else on the thread. I hope it's sunny in your corner of the world. We've had 2 BEAUTIFUL days but now it's back to constant solid rain. Thoughts are forming about moving to the Simpson........

Thanx trisk :rose:

I actually did get a good night's sleep last night! Feeling very rested this morning.
Woke to find the millipedes are back for the autumn tho, so not all great.

Don't move... The night's are absolutely freezing in the Simpson! Below zero!
We've had two days of rain, but back to 24* and sunshine for the next week. Tassie in autumn is glorious (apart from the millipedes!)

Bandit - very happy to hear your daughter has taken control of the situation and made the choice to be safe.
Being a single mum can be fun. I had a great time when it was just the no1son and myself :)
*sigh* when exactly do some men grow a pair and grow up???

Not very sunny here I'm afraid, it's persisting down rain. We were going to go to the second night of a 2 night speedway meeting tonight but not looking promising (although it's early yet).

I'm glad she's back in a safe place. Thanks to you both for your good wishes, it means a lot :rose: :rose:

Glad you got some much needed rest! :rose:

LOL We opened our big mouths last week, saying we hadn't had our yearly millipede plague. Guess what! They're here THIS week - late and not as many, but bloody annoying!!!

Yeah, temps do drop dramatically when the sun goes down! But I could escape the rain. Even a short visit.......

Many years ago, when I was travelling Tassie giving seminars I told my ex I had died and gone to heaven. Still love the place. It's just getting work down there is real hard.

Good luck 4 the speedway. :D

Otherwise, mud wrestling in the same arena??? I'm sure Gil would be there! And maybe some buff blokes for the ladies??? Just sayin....... ;) :D

It's lovely up here Tresk! Sure we had rain but we've also had our summer

It's ALWAYS summer in your neck of the woods, Sunshine!!!! :D
How's the garden going?

Hope your back is getting better, WQ. :rose: I used to put my leccy blanket on high and it worked a treat.

Had to drive down to the hospital again today - 2 hour round trip :(
Not the best when you can hardly bend for the pain.
I'm trying to cook dinner, but I can't get down to the oven. So I have the littlest kidlet doing all my bending for me.
And tomorrow I am due back in Launy in court with my daugter, so I will have to do the drive all over again.

Hey everyone! glad to see that so many aussie posters are on a website dominated by the rest of the world!

If anybody can help me... im looking for an experienced woman (MILF / Cougar Fantasy) in the melbourne area, im a 19m and would love to hear from horny ladies that are lurking around looking for younguns!

I would love to chat and talk some more!

Speaking of daughters, mine has left her partner and gone back to her dad's early. She couldn't take his shit anymore. She's sure now that he was the one who stole $150 out of her purse, he's been smoking dope and hanging around with lowlifes. She took the baby to see him (she was staying at her brother's) and apparently it was more important for him to go out with his lowlife mates than to spend time with his son. He's a user and seems to have the maturity of a gnat.

To tell the truth I'm really happy she's back with family where she can be safe, have support and get her life back together. She's been badly let down and I hope she realises (I have told her) that she did her best and nothing that's happened has been her fault....

Bandit :rose: You must be proud that your daughter has shown inner strength and conviction to leave that man, Bandit. So many don't and become lost in that rut of hopelessness and Domestic Violence. I hope your girl finds the peace and settles into life with her baby outside of the negatives of someone immature and unable to care as he should.

WQ :rose: for you and your many pains, physically and heart. I hope the progressing year brings healing to you and yours in all the ways needed.

Triskie :rose: for you as you are always so sunshiney and make this page glow.

Just a quick pop in. Life is a little manic in many ways. Still have the young girl with me, still no support from any agencies...given that up as a futile dream.

But the good side is, getting to have some hopeful time out next month. Have a choice of going to NSW South Coast, Canberra and Sydney (wicked party in Canberra..so it's tempting me sooo much) or to go to New Zealand for a long, long weekend.

Decisions, decisions.

Daughter has Senior Formal in a few weeks so lots of energy going into those preparations. All I needed was a dress, shoes and simple accessories and oh,yes....Mother to pencil in my eyebrow I'd inadvertantly shaved off....don't ask....dear goodness...don't ask!

There are spray tans, beauticians, hair, eyebrows etc to book. The dress is found, she will look like a fairy princes...no...not flouncy...smiles. The shoes and accessories come next though with my jewellery fetish, got that covered :D Thankfully Hormonal Princess no 1 doesn't wish to spend thousands upon a dress. She found one for less than $200 dollars (didn't tell her I'd budgeted for more...)

Next comes the cars and oh yes...the date. She is not interestd in boys outside of as friends at this stage, whilst that is soothing in many ways, does not make it easy to find said date. But I'm sure we'll find a victim, I mean companion for her.

Well off to study the new washing machine....makes for second major white goods in three months, first the stove and oven, this and sighs....think the hot water system is on the blink....oh will cry :(

Be well A/all and travel safely.

Wicked thoughts

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

Hi Ms Moon :)

Sadly, no1son has not responded to the medications and is stuck in hospital for the duration. At this stage, nobody is quite sure what to do for him, as I won't authorise experimental medication until I hear back from the USA, which is the only place that has used these for any length of time.

As for washing machines... I just had to replace mine. Had a front loader, but have changed to a top loader. LG direct drive Fuzzy Logic. This thing is so quiet, I am still going to check if it's working when I use it! Even on spin, it's almost silent. The loudest thing is filling with water!
It's a far cry from the trapped 747 jet I used to have!

Just heard that all went well with my daughter's appointment with Work & Income NZ and she will be getting a weekly benefit starting next week. Some good news for a change in what has been a rather crap couple of weeks :)

Good news :)
Now she'll be able to relax and enjoy being a mum for a while.

LOL A Beauty, 3.59am isn't a good time to drop in here as it's only the visitors from other nations, you & me.:D

Hope things are going OK & drop back when some of the other might be home.

lol I know i have weird hours to check what is going on ..i guess am used too staying up at this hour, and i forget the rest of Australia is asleep :D

Rain, rain and more rain here... or more precisely endless useless drizzle. Wish we could have some proper rain and then bursts of sunlight... haven't seen the damn sun for days.

I got a message saying I need to look in here but seems I missed whats happened.

Kiss it seems wet in the wrong way is what we are deemed to put up with, as long as no flooding or people injured it's not that bad. Hope all is well in the Kiss household.

A.Beauty :( again I've missed you but I hold out hope to caatch you some day.

Frisky how are the plans for you going? any news?

WQ I hope there is a break through with good news on how you son is doing.

MzMoon how frustrating it must be for you trying to get help for the girl your taken in & helping out.
I still say get the media involved as it seems ACA & Today Tonight are always singing their success songs about getting things done.

So, I turned 44 and no-one except my sons noticed.
My boys gave me a pair of bright blue welding gloves... believe it or not, it's the PERFECT present... as I keep burning myself on the fireplace and oven (currently have a third degree burn on my arm from the fireplace).
Anyway, even my mum forgot my birthday.
I guess after a certain age, nobody really gives a shit.
I think I'm going to ignore everyone elses b-day from here on out... this is the 5th year that almost everyone forgot.

I was always told it's rude to mention a ladies age & Birthdays would be a reminder of age too.

I've also ignored my own birthday for a long, long, long time, I refuse to grow up. :(

Happy Birthday WQ. :kiss::rose::kiss:

Going to post the updated list of people going to the meet in May. Out of towners might want to book ASAP as the prices are going up
