I'm better today, apart from my tongue  After being hauled around in my mouth every which way the left side is very tender. The crown is way back in my bottom jaw so I had to try and keep my mouth open as far as I could for aaagggeeess :(

I'm sure it's sitting too high because my top tooth keeps banging on it and I can't chew properly on the right side. I went shopping this morning and bought some yoghurt, soft crumbed fish and baby food for the next couple of days so I've got something I can eat. Porridge for breakfast was ok too.

Oh well it's only a couple of weeks til the permanent crown gets fitted!

i love yoghurt
these days, i make my own (much cheaper!)

temp crowns always seem to be bigger... i had the same problem with mine.

Marshmallows can still kill, people have choked on them, so I am taking no chances. Your Majesty. ;)

I probably would make my own if more than just me ate it (Gil hates yoghurt). I used to make it when the kids were small though :)

I'm hoping the permanent crown fits better than this one. I don't remember the other two I've got being this bad, but that was about 6 1/2 years ago

Sorry

adding - i've just had 3 more threatening phone calls. apparently they 'know where i live!'
i told them to bring it on... i'm itching for a decent fight, and the man hasn't had a good scrap for at least 9 months!
:D
looks like the 2 grand fine didn't go over too well

Hee hee - we have met WQ in person and can testify that she is indeed a marshmallow but she can be tough when she needs to be :D

not that i'm blowing my own trumpet here... but i sure as shit can hold my own!
and the ph calls keep coming - wonder if they'll completely blow their stack when i tell them i'm recording it all?
;)
and all because my hand hit the mirror!

Well if you and Gil can vouch for the lady in question I will believe it.

Hopefully I never bump her car mirror in a car-park, the consequences could be dire.

Seriously just hope the situation doesn't escalate any further, some people are just out to make trouble for others.

my hand hit HER mirror.
I could give less than a shit if someone hits my daily drive... so long as it's not the Big Girl
Our $18k paint job is so precious we don't EVER park in shopping centres!

It was a tongue in cheek remark, not a personal attack.

Survived the storms but the aftermath still being felt at Airport.

Took family there yesterday at 2.00pm for a 6.00pm flight for a connection in Sydney to Hawaii. Bumped off 3 flights, eventually left Melbourne two hours late which of course meant Hawaiian flight gone.
One benefit they got to stay in Bondi for today and fly out tonight, plus we now have baggage handlers walking off the job.
Considerate not, Grand Finals in both cities, travelling public again bear brunt and airport staff cop the abuse.
Rant over, weekend almost here, all by myself so feet up and couch potato, TV and PC.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

You can thank the airline as they convinced staff not to seek pay rises because of the financial crash then announce later that they plan on outsourcing jobs & won't give pay rises or even talk about it so this is the staffs only option to make their point.

And the excitement of the day for me?
I got into a bitch-fight in the shopping centre carpark.
Stupid woman got all in my face because my habd hit her car mirror as I went past. She started in on me, and I was NOT in the mood. I was completely calm and apologised, but she kept on at me, and raised her voice and began yelling, calling me a bitch etc.
Then I kinda lost it and gave her what for.
She threatened me with her husband and the police, so I gave her my details (told her she'd better be ready for it, coz I was only prepared to say my name and number once!) and she escalated the entire thing then.
Honestly - I thought she was going to hit me!
And all because my hand hit her mirror!!!
The guy in the car behind mine actually got out to restrain her.
I dunno - maybe her dog died or something - but it was completely over the top.
Then she got in her car to drive away and cleaned up an old lady in a yellow cressida
Poor old dear was all shook up. Police were called.
Now the cow is blaming me coz she didn't look where she was going (NEVER drive angry, people!)
The cops have hit her with a fine, so she reckons she's going to send some big scary men to deal with me
I have had several calls from both her and her husband (probably didn't help when I said to the husband that I was so sorry he had a wife like that!), threatening me.
Lol - some people really need to get a life

W.Q. you said it all with SHOPPING CENTRE CARPARK! she is likely one of the ones who bang their door into others cars leaving dents but it all the other cars fault for parking where they did.

You're both very sweet :rose:

I am going to do my best to be at the meet in Bris, specially as I can't make Bathurst next weekend, so won't be able to stop in and see you then :(
I will just have to watch it on the box (or should I say 'slab' these days?) lol

i've woken up to a gorgeous saturday!
the wind is a little chilly - it's coming straight from the south - but the sun is shining and there are no lambs caught in the blackberries.
i think i might potter about the garden once i've done the chores....

I only have two tools for the gardening a chain saw and round up, my garden is a disgrace

A true living legend, Gil. Enjoy your afternoon, I'm sure Bandit will help clean you up after you've drooled over the speedway car. hehe.

What a day! 5.30am to 3pm flat out on coffee with a ten minute break. Feet ache, eyes are blurry and I'm drinking water like I'm a sponge. Told the boss it ain't gonna happen again. My 1/2 break is now a happ'nin' thing! At least he agreed.... after the fact.....
