It was meant to be 27 C here today and then the rain and cold wind arrived. Can't trust these BOM guys. Did brighten up later tho so will keep fingers crossed they get it wrong for you too.
There is always a raincoat:)

Thanks DJ!

Why is it going to rain 2moro..... on my only day off this week? *grumble*

Still got ivy to chop at :(

Good day for rain as I'll be on Dialysis for a long day as I've had a 2 day break which means a lot more fluid to get rid of.

We had an absolutely gorgeous day here today, 20 deg!
Spring has sprung :D

On another topic - I am completely over bad service.
A local tyre place has had our rims for the last 2 weeks, waiting for our specialised tyres to get here from Sydney.
Hadn't heard from them, so I stopped in today, only to be told that they hadn't even been ordered!
I pretty much blew my stack - insisted that they load the rims into the car, give me back the $700 (for 2 tyres), and told them that they'd lost the business of my entire family and everyone I could tell
God, I HATE bad service.

Spring is AWOL here. Had stunning days then the return of cold and soggy for the school holidays!
Oh well. It's to be a cooking day, then. The freezer and I will share a nice yellow curry.

Bad service means bad business. We can only vote with our feet.

oh, poop
i just dropped a whole glass of coke zero behind my laptop.
damn this elbow and it making my whole arm numb without warning :(

storms never arrived..... we've barely had a decent rain.
given that melbourne was hammered, and we're only a few hundred km's away, i really don't understand how we missed it.

So we went from sunny 20 degree days to today, 11 deg and drizzly.
I am sitting in front of the fire waiting for my fish to finish steaming (en papilotte).

My arm has given me hell all afternoon - going from numb and useless to stabbing pains right inside the joint.
I am almost ready to give in an go to the mainland to fast-track the surgery.

I believe BANDIT:heart: & I live in the right place because of the damage seen on the news, not a lot of rain & generally we miss it all.

W.Q. You might be getting like me with my knees & back when weather changes hit I start aching, hurting etc, if so you can be warned of approaching changes & be ready before it hits. :D

Are you keeping a diary on the problems you having coping with your elbow?
It might help move things along.

Fingers crossed you find a solution soon.

Poor BANDIT:heart: is feeling a little second hand after todays visit to the dentist for part one of getting a crown done, she was in the chair for well over an hour. :(

Hope Bandit recovers quickly. :) :rose:

Long weekend traffic has hit my little town already. Tense city folk hurrying to get wherever. Someone should be on the corner handing out chill pills!!! Ambos and doctors are geared up for the inevitable accidents. Crazy nutters insist on overtaking around corners so they're 15th in line instead of 17th. Does it really matter if you get to the holiday shack 15 minutes later???????

I'm better today, apart from my tongue  After being hauled around in my mouth every which way the left side is very tender. The crown is way back in my bottom jaw so I had to try and keep my mouth open as far as I could for aaagggeeess :(

I'm sure it's sitting too high because my top tooth keeps banging on it and I can't chew properly on the right side. I went shopping this morning and bought some yoghurt, soft crumbed fish and baby food for the next couple of days so I've got something I can eat. Porridge for breakfast was ok too.

Oh well it's only a couple of weeks til the permanent crown gets fitted!

Hope everyone in Melbourne is OK tonight. Those storms don't sound too good! :rose:
Survived the storms but the aftermath still being felt at Airport.

Took family there yesterday at 2.00pm for a 6.00pm flight for a connection in Sydney to Hawaii. Bumped off 3 flights, eventually left Melbourne two hours late which of course meant Hawaiian flight gone.
One benefit they got to stay in Bondi for today and fly out tonight, plus we now have baggage handlers walking off the job.
Considerate not, Grand Finals in both cities, travelling public again bear brunt and airport staff cop the abuse.
Rant over, weekend almost here, all by myself so feet up and couch potato, TV and PC.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

And the excitement of the day for me?
I got into a bitch-fight in the shopping centre carpark.
Stupid woman got all in my face because my habd hit her car mirror as I went past. She started in on me, and I was NOT in the mood. I was completely calm and apologised, but she kept on at me, and raised her voice and began yelling, calling me a bitch etc.
Then I kinda lost it and gave her what for.
She threatened me with her husband and the police, so I gave her my details (told her she'd better be ready for it, coz I was only prepared to say my name and number once!) and she escalated the entire thing then.
Honestly - I thought she was going to hit me!
And all because my hand hit her mirror!!!
The guy in the car behind mine actually got out to restrain her.
I dunno - maybe her dog died or something - but it was completely over the top.
Then she got in her car to drive away and cleaned up an old lady in a yellow cressida
Poor old dear was all shook up. Police were called.
Now the cow is blaming me coz she didn't look where she was going (NEVER drive angry, people!)
The cops have hit her with a fine, so she reckons she's going to send some big scary men to deal with me
I have had several calls from both her and her husband (probably didn't help when I said to the husband that I was so sorry he had a wife like that!), threatening me.
Lol - some people really need to get a life
