Hi DJ!

Hope you had a great day! We've been gardening in a BIG way. My hedge is in and temp fence up. Edging done. Large bush removed. Ivy cleared from one fence (one more to go). Needed limbering up anyway so bruises not to stiff. Feeling tired but happy.

Late dinner just about finished.

I rarely drink, so I'm quite literaly a one pot screamer. There are no answers in a bottle but a few giggles are had on occassion.

I as a drinker was very lucky to be a happy drunk & not loud, agro & a pain in the ass.

I'm on some pretty awesome pain-killers for my elbow (the bone chip is now pressing hard on my main nerve) and I am somewhere near Jupiter at the moment!

Oh, and btw - my sheeps got the chop and my freezer is full

Lamb chops on the barbie for lunch tomorrow.

As a long term sufferer of chronic pain I have learnt to deal with some pretty severe pain before even asking for meds as I have so many meds now & not one bit of relief in any of it only up side of the meds is that keep me well enough to enjoy my pain.

BANDIT would love to join you as she loves her lamb chops.

I can't chop my babies soo... chickens are just for eggs and poddies go back to the farm. I can only eat those I don't know. So much for self sufficiency! I imagine I could if I HAD to...... maybe......

I am a major wous.

You could always swap the animals for other goods which would still see you as self sufficient.

Lazy day today, pretty hectic workwise so put feet up this pm and watched AFL, sorry to your Ma in law, but I barracked for Geelong.

Weather done here very nice but an extremely strong cold wind., similar tomorrow so will start removing the jungle.

Glad to hear the after effects of the previous evening have dissipated.

We went out for lunch is cold, windy. drizzle & later walking back to the car it was still, sunny & warm then after the rugby on TV we had a thunderstorm then another blew through not long ago. Forcast for sunday here is wet so glad I'm on dialysis for 8 or more hours so i'll not have to worry about it all.

Sadly no I can't plus with renal failuredaily fluid limits need to be strictly obeyed or dialysis isn't a pleasent thing as I'll need to suck the extra fluids out often causing my BP to crash & feel like crap (think of a really bad hangover & multiply by 100) so I try very hard to be a good boy with my fluid limits.

I need to replace/renew my antivirus software. Had Nortons on old computer - but it took over everything. Got McAfee atm, but it doesn't give me enough control re spyware etc. Looking at AVG.

Any suggestions?

If you want to use Hotmail, dont get trend micro, doesn't like it, warnings appear all the time that phone numbers and credit card details being accessed.

There again might be just me and my PC, nor really a techwizz.

I am a major wous.

I tried to keep my hand reared lambs to all girls so they could join the breeding flock. Any males were mothered on to ewes which had lost their lambs or if they absolutely had to be kept (like at end of lambing season when there was a shortage of mothers), they were castrated and given away as "lawn mowers"

I prefer to eat chicken from a supermarket We had chooks but they were just for eggs and never had a rooster

We use AVG Free Edition, does the job and catches most things before they have a chance to affect the PC. We did have to call a tech once to get rid of a nasty trojan horse that AVG apparently missed but he told us that most anti viruses wouldn't have caught that one anyway

Since the eldest son started his I.T. degree, I've been using the anti-virus that all the tech-heads use.
It's called Comodo, and is available from filehippo.com.
Oh, and it shits all over AVG (which I used to use).

I think it was my anti-virus. I've just downloaded a trial version of another and uninstalled the original. All of a sudden I have no problems with either Hotmail or FB.

This shouldn't have to be so complicated!

I wanted to go mac, but they are so damn expensive and the computer doesn't last any longer than a standard pc.
With what it would cost me, I've already upgraded my pc 3 times and bought a tablet!
