Urg - the weather has turned.
Wind, rain, cold, after a few days of balmy weather (got to 17degC the other day!)

The littlest kidlet is on external suspension for a day after backchatting a teacher.
He always gets bad with his attitude after his dad disappoints him in some way - in this case coming all the way to our town for 3 days, letting the kid know beforehand, but making no effort to see kidlet while here.
*sigh* and I have to deal with the fallout.

The eldest one has another cold. Not good. I'm keeping my distance because I don't need to get more sick
On a positive note tho, he went to the casino for his 19th birthday, first time ever... And came away $400+ ahead!

oh, and i used fb to warn off a 20-something girl who is threatening my daughter with nasty messages on fb.

i sent her a message after reading the threats she's been sending to my daughter....
'Please do not message my daughter, ******, as we are saving all your messages, and if you actually carry out your threat to physically attack my daughter, I will have you charged. Everything you put on either fb or text is usable if I do so.
And do NOT make the mistake of thinking I am afraid or you or your brother! I think I made that clear when your brother verbally attacked my daughter in front of me.
Both of you are cowards - you attack teenage children because you haven't got the balls to go after someone who can fight back (your pissant brother proved that when he ran from me!)
Leave ****** alone.

Ordered a new bed today, about $6,000. Now looking at a mattress, like $3,000. That'll leave me with about $5,000 for a Hand Cycle

It doesn't matter how it's done but if ANYONE threatens my kids nothing would keep me from protecting them! So, you go to it, WQ and nail their arse to the wall.

My kids laugh and call it my 'scary mama' but they feel secure in knowing it is there. We've also discussed blaming 'scary mama' if situations come up where they feel pressured into doing something they aren't comfortable with.
My friends laugh at the thought of it because I'm noy usually like it at all. But if it's worked, I don't care. Whatever it takes.

Fb can be fun and useful but there are mongrels everywhere. If they would use it to threaten, why wouldn't you to protect????

Well, I am officially old.
I have arthritis in my elbow.
Xrays tomorrow to see how bad.

The eldest boy is sick, again. He has the flu, and I am running around like an idiot spraying disinfectant everywhere, trying not to get the rest of us sick too.
On a brighter note, I am loving these new dettol wipes - they fit right in to my ocd

I'm wondering if we still have a sun? Not here.

Arthritis doesn't make you old lol. I have it in my back, legs and arms and I'm 27.

High Frisky, we are both well & doing fine although still very busy, we are always happy.

Go the Rabbitohs ! there doing OK at the moment & hope it continues too, as for BANDIT She is staring to watch the games on TV a bit more but she loves the rugby specially when the All Blacks beat the Aussies.

Like Orlanth I've had arthritis since my 20s but you can look forward to when you do get old it gets worse.

I use Glen 20 spray often when one of us has a cold or flu & that seems to be working for us. BANDIT claims I have OCD although I think I like everything in it's place & a place for everything, I do have my ways like checking the clamps when connecting to the dialysis machine.

Did you see the 'Abstain for the Game' advertising gimmick that got pulled for NZ Telecom?? Who's crazy idea was that?? Apparently they'd get black rubber finger rings to show they were giving up sex for the entire world cup!!!! Never made it to the screen.......

Yeah, I think the thrashings by the All Blacks will continue, sadly....*sigh*. They're bloody big boys on that team.... mmmmm..... (*thinking* yum) So, I think Bandit will be very happy on the sporting front for some weeks to come!

Yes I guess she will want her All Black jumper from the garage for the world cup & I'll dig out my Wannbes jumper, I'll be suprised if they can win as the All Blacks seem to her more heart & desire to win then we do similar to NSW V QLD in league.

Well, it's not arthritis.
There's a tiny bit of broken-off something in my elbow joint. Could have been from years ago, apparently, and as I've got older it has moved.
The tennis elbow is as a result of it 'jamming' the normal joint movement.
So it's off to surgery for me.

Not great news but way better than arthritis, good luck with the operation.
