In other news - I've just been too busy with work & sleep to fully catch up, but I see that WQ & Horus are very happy (for good reasons ), Nostress is getting nervous at photo ops (again for good reasons - congrats & keep it up Gil!) and LB is still looking for wardrobes, whipper-snippers & good men (hmmm - what's the freight charges for a wardrobe? Maybe I can hide a whipper-snipper in one with me )

I'm also investigating a little project that may see a little black raptor visiting southerly climes in May...

wonder if the Sydney get together ICR is thinking of setting up so she can venture north.

There's an event in Melbourne (no, not that sort of event) that I'm looking at going to - and I'm thinking if I can get the Kestrel down there... well, who knows where I could go?

You do know that those of us here in Melbourne will use any excuse to get the gang together for a drink and a meal and a natter......just make sure you pick a time in May when I'm not in Perth or the back deck won't be open to receive visitiors!

Well, that all depends on when you'll be in Perth? The event is on the 6th-and I would have up to 4 days after then (all dependent on the back-pocket god (my wallet)). Still in 'thinking about possibilities' mode right now, so can't say any more...

well riding all that way i'm sure you'll need a stop over in Syd to ease the burden, my advice is to head off early on a freshly serviced bike & go quick when fresh & ease right back when tired & take brakes to stretch the back, let the blood return to your hear & stretch the legs & carry lots of fluids you'll find the miles fly by.

Ahh... I wasn't thinking of riding down (time pressure-I finish work morning of the 4th, and the event I'm trying to see is on the 6th)... though riding back IS an option if I can get the bike down there... and you can BET I'd be stopping in Sydney
