It's also a BIG place - I've been playing with Google Earth and it's mind-boggling how much you can see!
In other news - I've just been too busy with work & sleep to fully catch up, but I see that WQ & Horus are very happy (for good reasons), Nostress is getting nervous at photo ops (again for good reasons - congrats & keep it up Gil!) and LB is still looking for wardrobes, whipper-snippers & good men (hmmm - what's the freight charges for a wardrobe? Maybe I can hide a whipper-snipper in one with me
)
I'm also investigating a little project that may see a little black raptor visiting southerly climes in May...

There's an event in Melbourne (no, not that sort of event) that I'm looking at going to - and I'm thinking if I can get the Kestrel down there... well, who knows where I could go?
Suggestions will be considered... as will pleas, bribes & (possibly) threats...
australwind said:You do know that those of us here in Melbourne will use any excuse to get the gang together for a drink and a meal and a natter......just make sure you pick a time in May when I'm not in Perth or the back deck won't be open to receive visitiors!

Xstatic said:Well, that all depends on when you'll be in Perth? The event is on the 6th-and I would have up to 4 days after then (all dependent on the back-pocket god (my wallet)). Still in 'thinking about possibilities' mode right now, so can't say any more...

Gil_T2 said:well riding all that way i'm sure you'll need a stop over in Syd to ease the burden, my advice is to head off early on a freshly serviced bike & go quick when fresh & ease right back when tired & take brakes to stretch the back, let the blood return to your hear & stretch the legs & carry lots of fluids you'll find the miles fly by.
