some good news today..... the EX is now out of coma, still a way to go and another operation to face up to but all in all she is improving a little bit every day and the prospect for a full recovery is looking better


and I am not just saying that so I have somewhere to dump the kids of a weekend

Having failed in my brief attempt to read the 3467 pages of posts contained in this thread, I have decided that it may infact be a better idea to post a message of my own and forget about reading 4 years of other people's posts, at least for today. Of course the main problem with that idea is that I'm not sure what exactly to say, so I shall leave it at a simple Greetings and find something slightly more intelligent at a later date.

ahhhh.... a lazy sunday!
nothing to do apart from a little laundry, and plenty of relaxation
it has been a fairly full-on week for me - seems like everyone wants to be pierced in time for xmas!
good for the bottom line... not so good for down-time and recuperation.

Well I don't know about the Lazy Sunday I have just been home from Ladybirds place and I am all ready buggered so it is off to work and off to see my youngest son and if I am luck maybe catch up with ladybird for a bit of fun and a chat

Well I am very happy for you and I hope all works out for you although I have never meet you Ladybird has a very high regard for you and thats all i need as a paramedic all I can say is if you talk to them the more you do the quicker they come around all the best mate ...... thinking of you

I managed a few hours sleep on the sofa my self this arvo.

i almost managed a kip on the sofa, but the kidley beans, in their infinite compassion, woke me up just as i was nodding off

one thing i love about being my own boss tho - if i want a day off, i can take one whenever i like!
might have half of tomorrow off, and get some chores done.

right now, i am answering emails, playing on lit, and having a teensy drinky-poo

still, i have to budget for the bad days, and on days off - as you rightly point out - i make nothing.
