Hi everybody! I couldn't read through the thousands of posts, and thought i'd drop in and say HI!
My name's Gus. I'm a very tall, large footed (ya know what that means? Big socks!) guy from Sydney. I'm 24, and have just come out of an almost 3 year relationship. Have been a fan of lit for a few years now, and its good to see a lovely little Aussie community here!

I promise that one day I'll actually manage to think of something to say, without padding the message with pointless ranting. But that day probably isn't today. So I'll try to catch up on those 10 pages of the forum and maybe post an insightful message.

Now the usual protocol is that newbies tell us all about themselves . . . you know all the usual cocktail party type things . . . where you are, what you do, which footy team you follow . . . and any other predilections that you'd like to share . . .

If you do it over a few posts then you build up your posting total and at 100 posts you can install an av pic . . .

I think there are still a couple of sand gropers who ares wimmingon the thread . . .

Well, I live somewhere Perth, to narrow it down further would take out any fun for a potential stalker. I guess I don't really do a whole lot of incredible interest right now. And I will pretend to care about football if I really need to. But I am really bad at talking about myself, so I'll leave it at that for the moment

Since I seem to have some time and I really should say more about myself, I'll talk about my hobbies, such as they are. I love reading, books and short stories over a wide range of genres and I will read anything if it's recommended to me and I can find it. I also enjoy writing, however the genres I cover there are somewhat more limited than what I read. I believe a majority of what I write would either be classified as erotica or fantasy (that's the swords and sorcery type) and would probably also be classified as rather badly written. But I'm sure that if I keep with it I will improve. That's all for the moment, time seems to have caught up with me.

Just kidding - I know why you might have thought that (Gil was one of the first to comment on the approaching baby Ifits...)

And for anyone who cares, the Kestrel lost its virginity in a rather embarrassing way - I dropped it IN THE DRIVEWAY! No damage apart from some scratches to the muffler (and dents in my dignity )
