Hey Mr. Bat!

Since Tap is away and Tolyk can't with his new job, I think you should take over as protector of Taps thread. You seem to enjoy the thread and the people enjoy you, I am also sure that ALL the best questions would be asked in Taps absence.

I may have to start a Wombat for the
"Turn about is fair play, Personal Interviews of our sexy Lit Women"
stand in quiz master petition.

All those in favour? Add you name after.

You know that old saying....."Age and experience beats youth and exuberance any day"?

Try it out sometime...you never know what you're missing! :p

Hmmm . . . geez Austral . . . I didn't realise you were into b&D . . . ;)

I s'pose you mean that getting experience requires training time . . . :D  :p

S-E QLD, hmmm? :D

Well, that's a good breakdown-I don't think ANYONE likes the way daylight saving fucks with things... and snuggly bunnies are wonderful! ;)

 *checks the footboard for cracks* That's... a lot of information - just wish I was a few years younger now...

SE QLD Indeed, Darling Downs to be a *little* more specific. Where be you in the Great South East? :nana:

Daylight savings only makes me confused. What is time? :O

And.. well, I was just saying it must be a full moon or something because I'm so damn frisky.. And I've always been told I'm good with words.. If I wasn't so concetration-scattered I'd write a story :p

It's a good thing you don't wish I was a few years younger :p

Besides, I fancy some Old Guys.. Richard Dean Anderson, Richard Branson... mmmm :p

Ahhh - good to know I caught your attention! :)

I'm between Brisbane & Ipswich (on the motorway); the time now is *looks out the window* time to go to bed ;) ; and frisky is a good way to be!

I don't wish you were younger (that's into 'spooky' territory) - it's just that I'm coming to realise all the things I missed - now that I have the time & inclination, I don't always have the energy!

Hmm - I don't have a crack team of world-hopping commandos, or a fleet of 737's, so I guess I'll have to find something else to catch your eye...

HHmmmmmm..............Richard Branson is it?

Would you like to see a home grown version?

The house mate is often told how much he looks like the Virgin Emperor...even to the extent that when he flies Virgin, the cabin crew are often caught taking a second look!

My "Richard" doesn't have that much money or the entreprenurial bent, though! (And he's a teeensie bit older than the real one, too!) ;)

The Nighthawk is passing...

... long live its badder brother!

After a bit of thinking (OK, 2 day's worth), I am upgrading my motorbike:

http://www.hondamotorcycles.com.au/resources/cb250_blk.jpg From this... http://www.hondamotorcycles.com.au/resources/vtr250_side_matt_blk_290x22.jpg... to this!

I'm hoping I haven't made a big mistake... there are a few differences between the two (liquid-cooled V-twin, sport chassis, rear disc brake) and I think it'll definitely feel weird for the first few weeks. Also, my wallet is gonna feel a bit of a pinch

But if all goes well, I'll be able to overtake at highway speeds now, rather than praying I get past before oncoming traffic flattens me! :nana:

Wish me luck...

You'll love having something with a little more "perk" about it...I know when the ex upgraded...going back to the older(read slower and heavier to handle) bike was not even considered after a couple of weeks.

From the perspective of the pillion seat....anything that had nice fresh bouncy padding for the passenger was a bonus as well!

Your wallet will recover quickly enough. Good luck!

You don't need luck - you will have a ball

Thank you AW & Bertrande   - I guess I'm just feeling nervous about the change (now that I think about it, I felt much the same way when I started riding!)

Provided finance is approved (shouldn't be a problem), the Kestrel lands on Tuesday!

(and it'll get a good run asap after!)

What's wrong with motorbikes? We're just discussing the things we like to ride (and you can do whatever you want with that double meaning ;) )

This is true - but with bikes like mine, it's more of a buzz than a throb
