What a thread

I think that this thread is amazing as where else could you get such topics as skydiving,wetsuits,SEX,compassion,poetry,comedy, birthdays,computer use advice and a host of other themes from ppl who do care about others.
This is why I keep comming back here but need more time to catch up on what I miss.

One thing i think people forgot about when answering OzSteamer's question was good old Glebe markets.

Every second sunday (i think) in Glebe Primary School on Glebe Point Rd.

now for today's smile on your dial....

Five cannibals get appointed as programmers in an IT company. During the welcoming ceremony the boss says: "You're all part of our team now. You can earn good money here, and you can go to the company canteen for something to eat. So don't trouble the other employees". The cannibals promise not to trouble the other employees.

Four weeks later the boss returns and says: "You're all working very hard, and I'm very satisfied with all of you, however one of our cleaners has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to her?"

The cannibals disavow all knowledge of the missing cleaner. After the boss has left, the leader of the cannibals says to the others: "Which of you idiots ate the cleaner?" A hand raises hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals says: "You fool! For four weeks we've been eating Team Leaders, Managers, and Project Managers so no-one would notice anything, and you have to go and eat the cleaner!"

Congrats as that was not an easy thing to do, I was in the Air Force for 20 years and flew on B-52. Never had to jump, a couple of close ones, but when push comes to shove, sorry about the pun. LB you made the 100 happen and should get the credit due as you keep us going, your art, pic's they are the greatest.

Sorry for the flood of posts this morning, but I was sitting here thinking about some of my favourite movies.

In no particulat order (since that would be too hard), give me you top 5 favourite films.

1. Four Weddings & A Funeral
2. Sliding Doors
3. Gross Point Blank
4. Hunt For Red October
5. Casablanca

These were the first 5 that popped into my head and i am sure i will walk off and say "Ohhhh what about....", but i figure if it was not straight away, then it can't have been that good :)

Since I am making lists, top 5 worst would be ....

1. Harry Potter (i want $12 and 3hours of my life back)
2. any of the police academy films
3. any of the batman films that does not have Michael Keaton as batman
4. The Postman
5. Waterworld

Hey Ozsteamer have you tried the Honeysuckle markets on the foreshore they might be the go if they are still going they have lots of organic food and natural things so that maybe be the go.

Ok, I'll see if they will let me in, LOL...I hope NOT for too much!

The Maitland markets on first sunday of every month always get a big turn out . Also the market at the Rocks in Sydney have heard that they are good.

Hmmm....I'll do an Internet search for 'em, and see what i can find out...Sydney is the 'go' I think...more yuppies, and more money!

By the way thanks for the tips re wetsuits I'll remember then if my partner gets back into surfing and IRB racing.

Ladybird we couldn't get together without you so definitely has to be when your over this side of the country.
