so many aussies with arm injuries... shows we are a hard working nation lol that or all of us on here use our arm's too much ;)

Mine is from years of playing football but I also worked as a brickies labourer after footy & a lot of other physical jobs too.

The Americans think we're insane - 200+km on a street circuit not much wider than 2 lanes, hurtling past concrete walls in what's essentially, a street car :D

So many great tracks in the US that would be perfect for the V8 Aussie cars.

Hi all, yep count me in, lol but mine's minor. just a bit of golfers elbow.

Lovely weather here in Melb this weekend, having a beer and watching the cricket highlights.
Eng 591 for 6 Dec, India 103 for 5! :D
Aust beat Sri Lanka in the ODI so they win the series!

I'd love to be able to play golf again (I do have a hole in one to my name) but It's not going to happen, my shoulders hurt just on the putting greens.

our next aussie G'n'G is in brissie :D

Daniel_Hart, to explain what the G&G is it is an Lit Aussie thread meet & is planned for 19 May 2012 if you would be interested in joining us PM Orlanth who is organising it with assistance from MzMoon.

I think the only solution is to dive right in. Then each sensation overwhelms the other and your body's so confused it warms itself!! lol

Don't care if it's fine , wet or rainy. Love to wander the espanade at St Kilda. Best part of living there.

And here I thought you were an NSW girl. I used to go down to the esplanade when I was a kid at summer time. Now I tend to go down there when friends come to visit. Mainly take them down there for the cakes in Acland St.

Also take my female friends down to the market on Sundays when they visit. A very busy place on the weekend all day and night. The weather this weekend has been rather nice, but I've been stuck inside setting up the new computer and the internet.

On our last ttrip to Surfers we found a night market alond the beach front that had lots of goodies.

Hi all :)

Well, I am officially old.
I have arthritis in my elbow.
Xrays tomorrow to see how bad.

The eldest boy is sick, again. He has the flu, and I am running around like an idiot spraying disinfectant everywhere, trying not to get the rest of us sick too.
On a brighter note, I am loving these new dettol wipes - they fit right in to my ocd :D

I'm wondering if we still have a sun? Not here.

Orlanth - good to hear you might be getting that cycle. It can only be a good thing for your health

Hey WQ,

You don't have to be old to get that arthritis, I discovered I had it at 26 in my right foot. Had no idea until I went to the doc complaining about a sore foot. I was also playing golf at the time and had to give that up. The doc gave me some pills and then told me I had to take those for the rest of my life. Well I took the pills for about a week then threw them away and went OS for 2 months. Thankfully I don't have it in the hands, but I believe it does spread as you get older. Unfortunately my mum has it in the spine and they can't do anything for her except provide pills to cope with it. But then she is in her 80's.

Hope the news isn't too bad.

Hey Gil,

Yep I think I've heard of that one. The one in St. Kilda runs just about all year on every Sunday. Mostly crafty stuff. Very popular with the locals as well as the tourists. And once you're done shopping you can relax in Acland St. with a coffee and cake. A good lazy Sunday.

Yeah the Surfers one was mainly crafty stuff too & you can't beat coffee & cake after anything.

Hi all 26 female Bris. Hows everyones sat going?

There are only 26 females in Bris?? Well I ain't going there in a hurry. And yes I sat a lot this weekend mixed in with a bit of walking around. Kinda makes you tired and hungry all that sitting.

Evening all,

Well a rather nice weekend in Melbourne so I heard on the radio. Got my new PC on Friday afternoon then spent the rest of the weekend trying to set everything back up again. Well the modem finally worked but not after a couple of calls to good old Telstra and their outsourced tech support. I think I had as much trouble understanding the techs as I did getting the internet to work. The PC worked brilliantly out of the box. Have to get used to the speed of it though, just too quick, then again that's the reason I purchased it. Hopefully it will last me a while into the future since I went for a high end machine. I don't want to go through this again for a long time.

Haven't got everything up and running smoothly yet, but most of it is back to normal. Lit hasn't been so fast.

Hope you had a relaxing weekend.
