I was fairly ill some years back & one of my city friends was the only one that came to see my & it was close to an hours drive each way, Rasher did the trip a few times & he is also here too.

I got 2 Get Well cards one from the US & one from the wonderful LB.

I'm not sure I'm enjoying the cold weather here in Central Vic...even if I'm not planning on sun baking in a bikini, some warm sunny days wouldn't go astray at the moment.

I think it's heading our way too, we bought a lighter quilt as were have been sweating it up under the covers with the down doona but the weather has turned again & it's chillly times ahead which is OK because it's also Good cuddle weather then.

I've got the doona and 2 waffle blankets firmly in place. It was -2.1 this morning, with windchill -5.8.
Thankfully, I've got the fire going, now I can carry the wood, and the cottage is cosy. Will be better once the window is fixed. Flaming soccer balls and teenagers!

Suddenly, I feel much warmer! The wind makes everything sooo much harder to cope with. The wind here ATM is a mere breeze compared to yours.
