Well, brachytherapy (radiation) is not going too badly. I haven't yet got the radition burn, but I am assured it will happen. And I will definitely be left with a bald spot on the top of my head.
But it's better to have a patch of no hair than the alternative.....
I am sort of planning to get to the V8's here in Tassie in a couple of weeks, but am holding off buying the ticket until closer to the date. It would be nice to go though...
The weather has suddenly turned cold - someone must have pointed out that it's Autumn! - so beanies are back for me. So are hearty soups, gluhwein and bed socks!

) and he's still cancer-free. It's a pretty rough treatment - be kind to yourself and yes, slow down! Good luck with the rest of your treatments.
