Do you ever associate posters' names with something completely related?

Every time I see Mercy Mia post, I get that damned Abba song, Mama Mia stuck in my head.

There are others, I just can't think of them right now.

Eumie, yours makes me think of an Italian with bad English asking to have his socks darned. :D

Hahahaha! My last name is pants. Kotori and Perky said so. :D

Euripides pants, eumenides pants.

Your name makes me think of Alias. My one tv show. My guilty pleasure.

Ya got me going now. Some are obvious, Jim H forinstance is the Muppets. Bknight a chess game. Heavystick reminds me of a make of glue stick you get in GB.

Morgaine LaFay makes me think of soap operas. Don't ask me why.

With me she conjures up Arthurian legends.

Nora reminds me of a cousn with the same name.

Dat's muh favorite smiley. =)

I hope your Nora's at least a nice Nora who does justice to the name. =)

Kinda funny this thread should come up...I was thinking how I get a 'flavor' in my thoughts. You know...stawberries, peachs, etc. Odd I know...but still I associate some with a flavor.:)

C2C? You mean you associate a flavor with certain posters? Is the pairing conscious or does it just happen? Is it every poster or just some? How does that work?

I mean, some are obvious...StrawberryPez and PepperminTrish, but what about others?

It's really not obvious...well to me. Just by reading and following some posters I get a, well, taste in my mouth that somehow I identify with them. I am just an odd duck I guess. It doesn't go with any names or such...just from my interactions or followings of each person.

Hm...can I request that my flavor be seared fois gras in poire William on a bed of barely wilted greens? :D

hmmm...somehow, for some reason, that fits pretty well Nora.

mmmmmm I'm getting kind of hungry now.:p

hehehe =) Of course, for it to REALLY be reminiscent of me, it should be paired with a delightfully sparkling glass of classic coke and followed by a deliciously crisp marlboro. ;)

Truthfully Nora...the flavor you bring to my mind...is quite special to me. Cinnamon toast. Spicy, sweet and I can even envison the smell too. Seems that the stronger the 'flavor' the better the results.:)

*Grins* I love cinnamon toast. You'd like mine. I make a paste out of the butter, sugar and cinnamon, then spread it on the toast. I like it that way cuz then the flavors all blend (and the sugar has time to melt).

Well that's totally and utterly cool! Thank you! :)

The name, "Redwave"..

Always reminds me of a menstral period, I think it might have been a codeword a GF/wife may have used.
