I'm curious as to whether there is, in fact, some kind of Douglas Adams-ish karmic relationship between underwear and the mysteries of the universe. :rolleyes:

Yes. The Mysteries Of The Universe can all be solved by studying the karmic relationship between underwear and Douglas Adams (whoever that is ...) :D (or did I get that mixed up ? :eek:)

Should underwear be folded neatly and wrapped in tissue, to be worn in a specific sequence throughout the week.....

OR...

Should it be thrown all nilly willy into a drawer to be fished out and worn first come first serve ?

As for your two postulates, I think I prefer the second but with a minor amendment:

I fold mine up and put them neatly in a drawer. I also, and this is probably just my OCD but I put my favorite ones on the right hand side.

Should people shower at night or in the morning?

Yes. Most definitely it would fuck up the universe. Unless in using your undies on different days you were actually using them under a chaos theory kind of concept. For example, how can men know whether each pair of their whitey tighties were for specific days. If they in fact are then we're totally fucked because they come out of the dryer and look exactly the same.

I do think it's like when your sports team is up by a touchdown and you decide it's at that time to change hats or positions on the couch and then they lose. That would be your fault totally.

I go for willy nilly. As long as you know which pair serves each specific purpose. Grannie panties for every day use. Thong leopard skin panties for Friday night dates to get laid.

They should shower at night or in the morning. Sometimes it's better in the AM, to wake up, etc. and get yourself going for the day to an office environment. However if you're in more of a manual labor field (I just spent the day working at my manufacturers), then it probably would be better to shower after work, so at night.

And it's always best to shower with a friend.

I like your version better Jett :) (and in my defense, the guy from that Dancing Mike movie (whatever his name is) could walk up and kiss me and I'd have no idea who he was either :eek: ... something about me and remembering movie/actor/author names )

I was on an Elmore Leonard kick there for a while. Mainly because of the show with Timothy Olyphant called Justified. The show was based on Elmore Leonard's recent writings, so I read those. But, I'm going to say Hombre. A book he wrote in the 60s that they made a movie starring Paul Newman. It was pretty good.

Right now I'm rereading A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kenndy Toole. I was keeping up with the one day at time Bible, but I'm about 3 weeks behind. :(
