I'm not opposed but I'd rather be impaled by something human

Where were you the last time you laughed out loud?

Earlier this evening in the kitchen.

Have you ever had a "spontaneous orgasm?"
(I just read a stupid click-bait article about it...I'm skeptical...)

I think this happens when mentally reliving a time..

Today at work....

When was the last time you were seduced?

it all began a handful of years ago

Where is the first place you're likely to kiss someone?

Lips.
Oh, wait..did you mean like...in a car or on the front porch?
Maybe in church? :D

Where does it tickle to be kissed?

hmm.. there is one spot in that crease.. on one side only
and I'm not handing the treasure map out to the general public

Is "no underwear" a preference
or an invitation?

LMAO aat "handing out the treasure map." :D

I think it's a preference unless you make it an invitation.
Or it may be an invitation for only a very select few.

What do you wear when you want to feel sexy, but keep it hidden?

a skirt.. and a cardigan.. buttoned to my neck so as not to send the wrong message

and pearls

and loafers

but underneath.. I wear a sheer red lace bra and matching panties that still allow him to see my fingers if I tucked them inside

but anyway..
On a scale of 1 to 10, how important is gourmet food?

*Gasp*

Um...uh...oh...you're a 10...oh, wait, food???

Gourmet food...I love gourmet food. It can be great. I also love food that is more "peasant" so. I would say, a 5 overall.

Where would you take someone from out of town for "the best of your town?"

Hmmm....I have been told that my sense of humor is very sexy.
I have also been told that it is really sexy when I do the dishes.

Not sure which one...

Do members of the opposite sex pursue you?

It has happened - I find it about a 50/50 split. It's always best when the pursuit is mutual and becomes a dance of anticipation.

In honor of Halloween, what's your favorite scary/horror novel, or do you avoid the genre.

I'm not a big horror fan, but Stephen King is an amazing writer. His novel, It, is probably one of his scariest. Although I liked The Shining better (and thought the book was better than a pretty great movie version).

In honor of "All Hallows Eve" (the eve of All Saints Day, a day we celebrate the memory of people we've lost) who do you remember this year?

It was a good year all in all, in that I didn't lose anyone close. I've got a list of people I've lost over the years and they'll be remembered.

When you celebrate holidays do you infuse them with your own meaning, or is the standard/commercial meaning enough?

It's a split family so the kids began to make joke about same party/different house. It led to an entire focus shift. We make fun finger foods, play games, whatever they want it to be as long as we're together..
I learn a lot about them and I love it.

How are you different today than you were five years ago ?

I know what loss is, is probably the biggest part of that answer.

What is your favorite go-to thread?

Three things popped into mind 1.) five years ago I was still in recovery/PT for a serious injury, 2.) I was in an open-but-committed relationship, and 3.) I wasn't eligible for early retirement. Fast forward - recovered from injury with minimal lasting effects, ended the relationship and am now single, and crossed the threshold so that I could retire today (financially) though I've got no intentions to do so. It's been a fairly significant five year stretch.

Odds are that five years ago you wanted something significant you didn't have. What was it and did you get it?

I wanted my child to be healthy. Yes.

Do you pray?

I have been on daily for the last month. As I recover I will be on less and less as I have quite a bit to do before next summer.

What are your Thanksgiving plans?

Wake up early and go to both of our parents' houses for two meals, time with family, and maybe a few games. We'll end the day with a little Christmas decorating.

What is your favorite Halloween candy?
