I never have. Breaks up are best done face to face, no matter how difficult it may be emotionally. I'm not a fan of folks who break up by text or even phone for that matter.

My experience supports your comment- that every relationship hits rough patches. I am a big believer in meeting someone half way. But if they aren't willing to do the same, it's not going to work. I could go on, but... nah.

Communication and compromise is the key. But it is a journey and never perfect. After 42 years of marriage I can tell you issues are always being worked out.
