Ok lets play, fetish wear. Can anyone discuss the pro and cons between vinyl, leather, and latex. Please keep in mind that I live in the southwest and its a bit warm. There was a fetish ball last Saturday and it has gotten me to think about some fetish clothes, next event is on Augest 8th and I might like to try to attend but I need some clothes. Please don't be shy if you have some advice I would welcome it,

fetish wear is a lot more comfortable in a photo than against the skin. If it's comfort you're after, maybe try something original, or just go for as much nekkid skin as you can show.

But most find the visuals of the fetish wear just too damn appealing to resist. My own choice is leather, too.

There is someone sorta local that can make me some latex clothes but its so damn hot here I think that would be near insane to wear it now. I would like some Matrixish style clothes, was that vinyl or PVC?? On our yahoo group we have a link to a fetish auction site, this got me thinking what I really want is... I want to have a medievil knight look, no chainmail, too heavy. I would have some lether gear like a surcoat and pants possibly, not sure where I could get a talbard made at or how to make for that matter though. The question then for me is does anyone think a costume like this would be considered fetish wear??

Yes, costumes can be fetish wear. Lord knows I've been a nurse, a doctor, a teacher, a queen, a tree fairy, a cheerleader, Wonder Woman, a nun, a cat (think furry/fuzzies school mascot), Mystique, a principal, Scully from x-files, a green alien, the chic from Titantic, etc to satisfy my various partners dominance fantasies.

I love leather because the smell invokes certain memories. Vinyl tends to chafe me and I can give me a rash if not lined properly. Now latex...oh GOD...latex...nothing beats liquid latex. It feel so good going on or so HOT to apply on another. The appearance is so fantasic as it molds perfectly to the body. Also, with some painted highlights you can really bring your imagination to life.

My favorite fetish wear depends on my mood. I wear a lot of leather because it makes me feel more powerful. However, I do really love corsets and victorian dresses...High necks and long skirts in satin and lace.

Can you give me a bit more info on the liquid latex?? The just pour it on you and then it hardens to the contours of your body?? Is this like a one shot costume then?? All I seem to have is questions and no answers, damn the noobishness.
