Actually that was slow for me. I had a lot of stuff going on at the time. Once I sat down to write it only took about 10 minutes to write it. I'll try to write the others this morning before I go to work.

This is a photo of the International Fountain, near the Space Needle in Seattle WA.

Water dancing round me
Thundering and splashing
Dancing through the air
Pulsing with the force
Of nature wild and free

It carries life and death
Both within it's embrace
It wears away at even
The stone, eroding them
And bringing to nothing
Until they are no more

It carries the seeds
Of mighty trees and
Spreads them in it's path
Changing all the land
To match it's vision
Of what should be

And yet it gives itself
To be used and toyed
With in ways it was not
Meant to do, it bends to
The will of man, or is
It really using man

Are we but taking it
To places it could not
Reach and giving it
A chance to do what
It would have had to
Wait centries to do

Or is it that even
In it's never ending
flowing, even water
Seeks to enjoy
Playing and is but
Using us to do so

None of this matters
As I stand beneath
The dancing waters
For what is will be
And wether we use
Or are being used

Enticing god and goddess
To pierce themselves
Upon it's spikiness

A salute to what
We wish to explore
The hidden depths
Of space, waiting for
Our embrace, wanting
To be plundered

We tremble like
A virgin, wanting
This and yet afraid
Can we take this
Final step and join
The cosmic dance

For now we but
Lift up our offering
Waiting until the
Time is right, and
Then we will plunge
Into the depths

Rushing headlong
To sate our pleasure
Thrusting ever deeper
Until at last we explode
And spread our seed
To bring forth life

There a stone
Visage basks in
Heat, storing it in

The life of day

To sleep giving
The nightlife a
Free hand for now

But morning will

The Need

My soul is aching once again
To hold her close, to touch her skin
To taste her lips and breathe her scent.

I need to lay in her arms
I need to rest my head on her
I need her touch

I want to feel her next to me in the dark
I want her warmth where I can feel it
I want to watch her sleeping, by candle light

To wake with her and walk with her
To spend long hours exchanging thoughts
And as many hours in silent sharing.

Here lately I've taken to writing frivolous things. Some of my stuff got found at work (someone read my notebook while I was in the ladies room) and they were a bit upset by some of it. They said I need help or to be committed. So I write silly stuff for them to read so they'll leave me alone.

Save it as a jpeg and go to image. There should be a resize tab there. Click it and select the next size down. When you save it again, change the name by adding a letter or number to it so that it won't replace your original. See if it's small enough then. If not then downsize it again.
