anyway, ive got a possible show lined up here in portland soon. im pretty excited about that. i need to get it rollin and maybe start selling things.. i make alot of stuff, wich costs alot of money..one can only decorate ones house so much w/ their own artwork..

Not sure about it. The people there tend to be a bit....well... they like to flame a lot. It's possible though that they might really like this. Only one way to find out. Put one there and see. If it goes well then a lot more people will have a place to show their stuff. If not and the flamers take over then you as the thread starter can ask that it be ended.

hey marilyth- i have pics of some stuff ive done, but i cant get them on here cus theyre to big i guess.. do you know how to downsize a photo in photoshop? ive saved it as a gif, and it still wont fit.. any help and ill post my stuff on here

Yup, I go into resize/proportionate and resize them to 800x600 (i think that's the rule, if not it's 600x800)

Just make sure that if there's not an automatic proportioner in the program, that you make sure you do that too

thanks.. you should learn, its really not to hard. if you can put puzzles together, chances are you could learn how to make some kind of mosaic

Giggling Memory

All day I worked
Raked and cleaned
Wanting the beauty
Of grass to be seen

I carried off each
Branch and twig
Raked the leaves
In piles so big

I swiped across
My sweated brow
Paused and thought
“It’s break time now”

I went inside
To get some tea
When sounds of
Giggles reached to me

I rushed across
To the window sill
Prepared to shout
“Hey, What’s the deal?”

Instead I stood
And watched the sight
Of my small son
In mocking fight

He and his puppy
Were playing round
The leaves I’d piled
Upon the ground

The look of delight
Upon his face
As they threw the
Leaves every place

It brought back
Memories of younger day
When I too chased
A dog in play

The crunch of leaves
As we crashed through
The happiness that
We both knew

I watched him
