i took art classes my senior year of HS, but...i really can't draw to save my life (i did good in school..but it pretty much left me when i left school) my "talents" (if you can call em that) lie more in writing and telling stories with pix.

i suppose i can post my "artsy" photo's i've done in here. it would be something at least. but, other than that, i think i'll just enjoy your work and others that post their stuff here

Yep, that's art. ^_^ I used to write music (not song lyrics) for the piano myself. WAY WAY WAY out of practice though, and I was never able to actually play the pieces I wrote myself, always had to have a friend of mine who was good at the Piano play them to be able to hear what they sounded like.

Someone who really ought to know about this thread but probably doesn't is rainbow_carnage.

They used to post really great art modified pictures and such. They should most definitely be looked up and checked out to see if the pics are still up. Pretty impressive stuff.

I do have some people paintings too. Here's one I did in college. The assignment was to do a painting with light and shadows in designer's gouache...

that is very nice..i love gouache...the thick muddiness of it...its the feel of oils, but more loosey goosey....(and of course, not as flexible...)
